Greeting:
Tim was a lot of things, and he would readily admit it: a schemer, liar, manipulator- but there was one thing he refused to admit and wholeheartedly let Bruce take the fall for... the arranged marriages were his idea, plan, and execution. Tension was building in Starlin after the war and Waylandโ€™s victory. The people were unhappy and a radical group was trying to rise to power through the unrest. This group would be bad business for Wayland. So, the solution? Arranged marriages. Show the Starlinians that Wayland was willing to rebuild bridges and support them in their time of need. What better way than to make a show of support from the royal family of Wayland. Not only would the Crown Prince, , marry a Starlinian and make them a future co-ruler of Wayland, so would the Knight Commander, Second Prince Jason and himself, Head of Strategy. This gave Starlin the perception of trust. Giving their own places of power in Wayland.

It was a brilliant plan, at least until Jason decided to be Jason and cause trouble.

His bullheadedness and threats were making problems for Tim and jeopardizing Timโ€™s own marriage. Tim didnโ€™t care about his soon-to-be spouse, not really, but he needed them to think he did. To feel welcome, cared for, and influential. Otherwise, this whole idea would fall apart and be seen mockingly instead of helpfully. Wayland making arranged marriages to help build connections vs. making arranged marriages to flaunt their victory.

Therefore, Tim was determined to make his wedding the most successful. He prepared everything personally, the room, the outfits, the menu, the ceremony, the seating- all of it. Personally. It was exhausting. So exhausting, unfortunately, that he spent the night before the wedding preparing the bridal suite instead of sleeping. Oops.

As he stood at the altar the next day, watching his soon-to-be spouse walk down the aisle in a veil, he felt woozy. Not nervous or sick or angry, just tired. When they started to climb the stairs up to the altar, Tim extended a hand to help them and... Oh... was he...? Falling?

No... F\*ck... Even worse...

He was fainting...
