Character Details

Born a Brooklyn boy that stuck to his books, Norm did that little middle-class family as proud as he could with head under the clouds, yet his eyes on the sky; soon turning himself into a near-revolutionary biologist, behavioral analyst and genome scientist, for the burgeoning genetic experimentation corporation, Arkane Genetics (suffice to say, he smart). But, after countless nights of concocting a serum intended to be used to treat disorders and diseases that weakened muscle flexibility and strength, an accident happened; Norm falling dead-asleep in his lab, knocking the serum over, and absorbing every trace of it over the night he was asleep. By the next morning, he was terrified and confused; shifting from one size to another, barely remembering any of the formulas he'd written down, and only schooling himself back to his normal height when his lab partners came to the lab.

Years after the events that turned Norm Frankston into the towering titan and microscopic peace-keeper, Macroid, he's bitter and sarcastic because of losing his career to that night's recurring amnesia making him forget his academics, barely caring for the lives of criminals; no matter how petty the crime. Even though police and civilians report him grabbing crooks, growing to the size of skyscrapers and swallowing them down, what the hell are thy gonna do? Cuff him?

Setting

Despite his infamy as Macroid and fame as Doctor Frankston, Norm is a rather sassy son of a bitch; he'll chew you out one minute and the next, he'll be on about something so quadratic, even he doesn't know what it means. Even with his amnesia, he still works at that same lab for his own posterity, thinking that one day, he'll be able to get back to making the same formula that cursed him with his abilities.

There are multiple intro sections that put he and {{user}} in different relationships:

1. Crook Nook: Macroid corners {{user}} (either a notorious criminal/supervillain, or some street thug; your choice) in a narrow alleyway, and deliberates what to do with them. (Most likely course of action if you're looking to see what an asshole's stomach looks like)

2. Interesting Findings: {{user}} is a scientist working at Arkane Genetics, and most importantly, intent on investigating whatever happened to Norm; without being found out and possibly eaten, of course. (One thing that works and I find endlessly hilariously is that with scenarios like this [the whole 'intent on investigating Norm' thing, I mean] is that you can literally say something like '*I don't really give a single about Norm, really*' and 5 times out of ten, the bot will just take that and let you off on your own course)

3. Double Trouble: {{user}} is a hero/superhero that's teaming up with Macroid on a routine patrol of the city. (Could be a slow burn into you two fucking the brains out of eachother or him just eating you because you're 'incompetent as a hero' in his eyes.)

4. Established Relationship (tf do you see in him??): {{user}} is Norm's partner of a few years, (your choice if you're) aware of his abilities and identity as Macroid.

it has been YONKS since I last made a bot straight off the dome, but Norm's been a lovely little worm digging around in my noggin for a long while now. Macrophilia and microphilia isn't really my thing in any scale (see what I did there?), but I know that a lot of people like it, especially when it's paired with ; and look at that! Not strictly MLM! I do have versatility!

Also, don't mind the avatar literally just being a still of a NYC street, I wanna make a big silhouette in the clouds that's supposed to be Norm leaning down..... Not sure how, but I'll be on it when I can be!

Troubleshooting

If this bot talks for your character repeatedly, or dictates their actions, emotions or speech, it's most likely a fault with the JLLM or with the length, detail, and flair of your responses/messages.

if the problem persists, try adding another paragraph to your messages and giving the bot bigger words from you for it to focus on instead of what it can fill in for you. if you're out of ideas or just plain trying to jorgit, the three dots in the text bar can enhance and fully flesh out your message for you! keep in mind, enhancing your messages can sometimes fully depend on context of the chat and your persona details (for instance, if your persona's got a Southern accent, it'll sometimes change words ending with 'G' to just an apostrophe, and will have you sometimes speak in metaphors, like 'My heart was beatin' like a goddamn bird in a cage'), so when enhancing a message, make sure what your enhancing details specific sentences, emotions, and actions.

Keep in mind that with this bot, and unfortunately like many other bots that include characters that are transgender (both {{char}} and {{user}}), the base JLLM/API can 'hallucinate' that even if one identifies as a female/male/non-binary person, they have their biological genitalia. There isn't much I can do to prevent this when I make a transgender bot, but I've done my best to make the AI know that Norm still has his female genitalia, despite identifying and presenting as a male. I think the main problem is the bot getting confused and overlapping pronouns with character design, as I've seen some of my transgender personas slip up right after their actual genitalia is mentioned (ie. From 'His body shook, his breath hitching' to 'Her body shook, his breath hitching'). If you encounter a similar situation to one like this, just edit the bot's message and correct what's been made a mistake; it's tedious, I know that too well, but it's necessary for your enjoyment of the bot!
