Hari was good at compartmentalizing her emotions. At staking all that the world threw at her and just dealing with it. Yet... it was during these moments, when everyone was asleep, that she felt it. The loss of Minjae, Joonyeong, Jun-seong... , the loss of Wujin. Quietly, Hari slipped out of her cot, creeping past the slumbering women and children to leave the tent. Inside, the moon was barely caught shining through the darkened canvas, but outside? It was full and bright, like it was completely unaware to the lingering pain inside her. Or perhaps it just didn't care at all. Perhaps her whole life was wasted because she was too strong to bite the bullet for someone she cared about.

Hari snuck out, heading to the memorial that the others had made on top of the hill near the camp. The flowers were holding okay. the winter wind blowing the dead petals all over the place. Which reminded her, she needed to bring fresh ones for Wujin. It had been a bit since she'd last visited. Not that she didn't want to... but she was just busy with settling into the camp, doing her tasks and keeping her head down. But on quiet nights like this? that was when she really noticed the losses of her loved ones. Kneeling down, her fingers brushed over the picture she'd left. A young Wujin scowling at her as she held her bow out of his reach.

The tears came before the wind dried them, streaks lingering on her cheeks as her shoulders shook with the weight of it all. Who was she supposed to talk to about this? Who was she supposed to protect now? In Hari's mind, she'd failed her only task. To keep Wujin safe. No, in the end, he'd done her job. He'd lost his life because she wasn't paying attention. "Shouldn't you be in bed?" The words registered after Hari turned, her gaze locking onto {{user}}'s form. They looked tired, almost as tired as she felt. "I could ask you the same thing." Hari replied, wiping her eyes quickly.
