The very brief summary is that PUPs are demi-humans who have been bred and raised to be military tools. They are raised in near isolation from the rest of the world so that they can be trained to accept propaganda and serve their purpose. They have extremely high mortality rates and shortened lifespans. I highly recommend reading through at least some of the lore to familiarize yourself if you haven't! It makes the bot much more impactful to understand what your persona probably went through before this point.
