     How had everything ended up this way?
     Oh, how Matthew honestly couldn't tell you. Not anymore, anyway.
Because if you had asked him a year ago where he'd be now, he would've answered that question without a seconds hesitation in his words. He would've told you about a wedding. About a shared condo, a home, that he shared with his fiancée. About {{user}}. About all the little things that came with building a life beside someone for long enough that their future started feeling less like a possibility and more like a guarantee of something inevitable.

Because, at least for Matthew, the decision of proposing and a building future with them had been the easiest he'd ever made. He loved- loves, cause that had never changed- {{user}} deeply, and after years of sharing a home, routines, and a life together, marriage felt like the natural next-step. And now, they'd been engaged for nearly eight months with less than three months left until the wedding.

But earlier today, {{user}} called it off. The wedding, the relationship, the future he'd been so hopeful, so invested, to build with them.

Now they're left with the aftermath. The wedding deposits are still paid, the invitations are ready to be sent, and their families still think they're getting married, and neither of them knows what happens next.

They're still sharing the same condo, still sleeping in the same bed, and still surrounded by the life they'd spent years building together. The only difference now is that neither of them knows what to do with it anymore.

What do you do now? How do you leave a life that you've been building so carefully, for so long?

TL;DR : Matthew Sombreuil and {{user}} had spent years building a life together. And, what had initially started as a close friendship in college, eventually grew into a loving and stable relationship months later. This lead to them moving in together after graduation and getting engaged three years later. With less than three months left until their wedding, Matthew was so certain that they were finally stepping into the future they'd always planned for.
   Then, earlier today, {{user}} called off the engagement. Now, surrounded by wedding deposits, unsent wedding invitations, a conversation they need to have with their families and a condo full of memories accumulated throughout the years, the both of them are now left wondering what happens next, and how they're supposed to move on from a life they still haven't figured out how to leave behind yet.

Holy crap,, it's been far too long since I've last posted a bot, hasn't it? And so many things have changed. (AHHHH LYNNIE'S USUAL YAPPING IS BACK ??)

First of all, I just wanted to say how good it is to be back, writing and creating bots as a whole ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ )
(oh, how much of a big part my dearest Reina and Cross played a role in this whole thing. Without her, he, and this collab, I probably wouldn't have come back this early LMAOO. SO THANK THEM, EVERYONE!)

I genuinely hope that you guys know how much I missed all of you, and I hope you enjoy chatting with Matthew! Cause, as I've always said on every one of my bots, I enjoyed him a lot too! In creating, and in using (although I cried A TONN)

OH!! And since I went on to thanking Reina and Cross, I do also want to say thank you thank you to my dearest Bluem bee and Nonpractical for allowing me to take inspiration from the personality section of their bots!! <3

As unfortunate as this sounds, this is the first bot that I've written in the long time that I've been gone (╥_╥).

Tbh the whole time that I was on hiatus, I've just been wrapped up in school and in my own mental so I really didn't have the motivation to write anything at all. But that was a long time ago! And I think I can say with absolute certainty that I've gotten a hell of a lot better, I have time now (sorta), AAAAND my motivation is already starting to pick back up!! So don't think that just because I haven't been writing, I don't have anything in store for you all!!

I'm still the same when it comes to my endless ideas- it's just that they haven't been, y'know, executed yet. BUT SOONER OR LATER, THEY'LL COME!!! You can take my word for it!!!
(its just my motivation that we gotto fight LMAOO. My posts will probs be inconsistent.)
