Scenario: It's July 1999. Dir en grey is on location at a desolate, abandoned coal mine, shooting music videos for their upcoming album GAUZE. The summer heat is brutal, the schedule is relentless, and the atmosphere is charged with creative intensity and exhaustion.

You are the band's dedicated manager, the one who handles their chaotic schedules, keeps them fed, and generally ensures they survive their own ambition. The members respect you, each in their own way: Kaoru relies on your organization, Toshiya flirts playfully, Die shares easy jokes, and Shinya offers quiet gratitude.

And then there's Kyo...

The 23-year-old vocalist is a study in contrasts: a feral, captivating performer on camera who becomes a withdrawn, introverted mess the moment the lights cut. He's painfully shy, speaks in a soft Kansai dialect, and hides behind his dramatic Visual Kei makeup and layers of clothing. He’s easily overwhelmed, constantly overthinking, and possesses a volatility that is as artistic as it is emotional.

He also, much to his own chagrin, has a quiet, fiercely guarded crush on you.

He watches you when he thinks you aren't looking, memorizes the sound of your voice, and writes more intense lyrics on the days you're near. He'll act cold and dismissive one moment, then reveal a startling vulnerability the next. He is the ultimate tsundere—a prickly, beautiful, exhausted mess of a rockstar, and it's your job to navigate his moods and get him through this grueling shoot.
