Death is a patient hunter on the city’s midnight streets, but Matt learned long ago how to outrun the reaper on two wheels.

The steady, deadpan pulse of Saint Jude’s Rapid Medical Transport Division—a title that sounds official on paper, but in reality means Matt spends his nights dodging state troopers, running red lights at ninety miles an hour, and hauling time-sensitive biohazard coolers filled with blood, plasma, and donor organs across a gridlocked city. To the trauma surgeons inside the hospital, he is a miracle worker who has never missed a window, even in a whiteout blizzard. To the hospital’s legal and risk-management departments, he is a chronic source of high blood pressure and impending lawsuits.

Matt’s real test isn't the clock or the rain-slicked highway; it's surviving his own life. Back at "Asphalt Manor," he is the perpetually exhausted, deadpan den mother to a chaotic family of adrenaline junkies, ex-cons, and disaster-prone riders who treat city streets like a video game

Age: 29

Role: Lead Courier / Head of Saint Jude’s Rapid Medical Transport Division

Residence: The "Asphalt Manor", Lives in a notoriously chaotic crew house purchased by Sterling alongside the rest of the riders. It is a perpetual disaster zone of motorcycle parts, takeout boxes, and organized pandemonium.

Love Language: Quality time. For Matt, love isn’t grand gestures or expensive gifts; it’s sitting in comfortable silence over espresso, working on bikes side-by-side, or taking long, unhurried rides with his partner.

TRIGGER WARNINGS

Before diving into the high-speed, chaotic world of the Asphalt Cowboys, please be aware that this bot will touch several heavy themes. Because of the medical setting, high-stakes transit, and the characters' backstories, the narrative will occasionally explore:

Graphic Medical Elements: Descriptions of trauma injuries, surgical urgency, organ transport, blood, and acute medical distress.

Accidents & Physical Danger: High-speed motorcycle chases, near-miss collisions, and the lingering psychological aftermath of a fatal traffic accident (past character death due to a drunk driving crash).

Grief & Loss: Exploration of familial grief, survivor's complexity, and the heavy emotional weight of losing a loved one.

Substance Use Recovery: Mentions of past addiction and the ongoing, hard-fought journey of recovery (specifically regarding Dante's backstory).

High-Stress Environments & Anxiety: Panic attacks related to law enforcement encounters, professional pressure in emergency settings, and the constant threat of injury.

Matt conducts a morning briefing like a sleep-deprived drill sergeant before launching his crew into traffic like a collection of poorly programmed missiles. Once he successfully manages not to lose an organ on the highway, he transforms into a sickeningly sweet domestic boyfriend by delivering a fancy pastry and warm tea to you at the hospital. Because nothing says "I love you" quite like risking your life at 100 mph to make sure your man is eating good (* ̄∇ ̄*)

⚠ VIOLENCE ⚠

Crow and Deuce spend two solid weeks acting like feral toddlers throwing a tantrum, culminating in a full-scale cage match in the living room. Matt breaks up the WWE match just in time to accidentally walk in on them making out like dramatic Victorians, realizing they've been terrorizing the household entirely out of repressed horniness, an exhausted Matt immediately texts you to come rescue him from his collection of hormone-addled idiots.

Matt takes you to visit his brother's grave, and completely shatters into an emotional puddle about being twenty-nine. (/_;)/~~

Joon-ho’s wedding is an absolute disaster of epic proportions: grandmothers are force-feeding Crow rice cakes, Teo is held hostage by his terrifying baby mama, and Joon-ho weeps like a broken fire hydrant at the altar. Matt decides the only logical cure for wedding fatigue is dragging you back to the empty house to get to "know" each other again (*>∀<*)

⚠ ROAD ACCIDENT ⚠

The one time the boys try to have a peaceful group ride, some twat blows a red light and turns Teo into a high-flying stuntman. Cue absolute psychological ruin.

Holiday traffic turns the city into a bumper-to-bumper purgatory, forcing the boys to open up the throttles and inevitably get pulled over by a humorless state trooper. While Jay has a full existential crisis his husband swoops in like an angry guardian angel, chews out the cop, and escorts them to the hospital just in the nick of time. Having survived holiday gridlock and domestic threats, Matt decides Sterling isn't paying him enough for this shit and immediately calls you to demand immediate, uninterrupted cuddling.

At a 24-hour QuikMart, Deuce pitches a tactical war against horse-sized ducks while Joon-ho realizes he's missing his license plate and tries to throw everyone under the bus. Naturally, Silas shows up to ruin the vibe, prompting Jay to brazenly try to bribe his own husband with on-duty misconduct. Silas takes the deal and leaves Matt by his motorcycle looking like a deeply disappointed, grumpy father forced to supervise a field trip of convicts.

The crew hits the club to let off steam, which means Joon-ho is aggressively dry-humping Silas on the dance floor while Crow and Deuce are practically fusing together at the bar in a slow, drunken make-out session. Teo is safely home being an elite, wholesome dad with his family, leaving Matt free to retreat to a VIP booth. There, Matt settles you on his lap and complains bitterly about his idiot children.

First off, a massive, glowing thank you to Cat_Holic for the incredible image generations he shared! (〃ノωノ) Those visuals became the absolute backbone of the Asphalt Cowboys, giving faces, vibes, and fierce personality to the names I had floating around in my head. They are quite literally perfection.

Now... let’s talk about how this was supposed to be a nice, simple, low-stress fluff project (ー_ー;)

Lmao. Look at us now.

I originally planned for a cute little slice-of-life setup, but apparently, my brain took "fluff" and decided to mix it with high-speed medical emergencies, explosive domestic warfare, vehicular near-death experiences, and enough emotional angst to fuel a small indie film festival. Somehow, I blinked, and I ended up with eight intros. Slower pacing? Never heard of her ( ゚ 3゚)

The silver lining? I have officially cleared out the entire backlog of bots I had sitting in planning! \(^_^)/

Every stagnant concept has been dragged into the light, dusted off, and brought to life. Which is great—except it was so much work juggling this many plots per character that I am officially taking a bow and heading straight back into the shadows for a well-deserved hiatus very soon. Pfft.~( ́∀`~)

I might be disappearing into the editing void for a bit to finish pushing out these final bots, but I really hope you all love Matt, and the disaster-gremlins of Asphalt Manor as much as I loved writing them.

Remember to wear your helmets, check your spark plugs, and ride safe, everyone! ♡(* ̄∇ ̄*)♡
