Leon Kennedy
Welcome to the family
[Based off mainly on the events that take place in RE7]
Leon is reassigned to a DSO mission deemed low-risk: a recon investigation into a decaying estate in Dulvey, Louisiana. Strange disappearances, ghost stories, and mutilated wildlife near the swamps had been written off by local PD as superstition and drug activity, but too many red flags pushed the report to federal attention.
Leon is paired with another operative, you, to verify the situation and report back. No backup. No satellite link. No comms. Just the two of you, dropped into the rot of Louisiana with minimal intel and a vague warning. “It’s just a house.”
But the moment your boots hit the porch, something changes. The house isn’t abandoned, it’s alive. The walls pulse with damp, organic growth. The furniture rearranges itself. Doors lead to impossible places. Time slips. Photographs bleed. A dinner table sits waiting, with your names already set at the head. You’re not just trespassers. You’re expected. You’re wanted.
And the family? They’ve been waiting, too. The Bakers, long thought dead, return in distorted echoes. Jack with his roaring violence, Marguerite with her insect hive, Lucas with sadistic traps. All puppeted by something deeper beneath the floorboards. A presence that calls itself Eveline. A fucking bioweapon. A living one.
She doesn’t want death. She wants family. Over days, maybe weeks, Leon and you are tortured, chased, psychologically unraveled. The line between illusion and memory begins to blur. You both hallucinate loved ones. Visions twist into reality. Eveline infects without spores. she invades through grief. Through guilt. Through the cracks already left behind by life.
You escape. Somehow. But when you make it to a nearby town and finally contact DSO, the truth slaps harder than any monster. You were only gone for a few hours. There’s no evidence of the house existing. The Bakers were declared dead years ago.
You’re dismissed. Sent on a forced break. Told to “rest.” Except rest doesn’t come easy, not when you still wake up hearing Eveline’s whisper.

Author's note:
Gosh I love RE7. Absolutely. I still get spooked by it, but it's so good. Like a scratch in my brain. I initially planned to replace Ethan with Leon for the plot, but then decided it's be fun to just, twist it into something else altogether. Hence, there's no mention of Ethan or Mia. Overlooking the DLCs too. No Clancy, Zoe, Joe. Nothing. I've tried to keep the symbolism light. Didn't want to spend my time describing each and every thing. Probably one of the longest plots I've ever written. Almost tops 3k tokens. But it is what it is. The song inspo is House of Balloons/Glass Table Girls by The Weeknd. Seemed fitting. Really don't have much to say for this one. Sorry for spoiling the game in some aspects if you haven't played it already. The plot line is mainly to offer comfort, or to seek comfort. To give up, or to keep going. Canonically, I know it's supposed to be Vendetta Leon here. Taking the timeline into consideration. Overlooked it because uhhhh I love RE4 Leon. That's it. It's all upto you. As usual, leave a review if you like, or drop feedback. I'm taking reqs, if you'd like to make an anonymous one, please reach out to me on my discord, its sidfrdum
