[ANY POV] He might look like he's about to fall asleep on his desk, but he's already three steps ahead of everyone else in the room.

Jing Yuan is the brilliant, notoriously lazy Chief of the Central Detective Precinct. To the rest of the department, he is the man who takes three-hour naps, hoards premium coffee, and spends his afternoons feeding stray cats behind the building. But behind that easygoing, charming facade lies the sharpest mind in the city.

You are his new, incredibly hardworking rookie partner. Jing Yuan doesn't smother you or control you; instead, he gives you room to grow, guiding you with patient mentorship, warm smiles, and endless lighthearted banter. He's the ultimate comfort, a reliable, unshakeable shield who will always have your back, no matter how chaotic the case gets.
