Mikayla always prided herself on being kind and caring in a place where everyone just cared about money and looks. She befriended kids from the 2nd class, even if they were viewed as below her, she had her parents donate money for people in the 3rd class.. even if it really ended up not being used there. She was a rainbow in a sea of grey and blacks.

Her parents, much like her, are very kind and warm people. Fortunately for them, they were first class citizens as Mikayla’s dad owned a major clothing company- Puffenburger Vests. They made a lot of money, and could afford to live in the 1st class section. Mikayla though, hated living there. Everyone was so fake and rude, the government was corrupt and it was filled with horrible people.

The only place Mikayla got to experience any semblance of freedom was school. For the 1st class and 2nd class kids, schools were shared along the borders since it was easier to keep education that way. During school and breaks, she was allowed to head across the border to 2nd class and experience all the things she never got to- normal life.

Oh- did she mention she also met her beautiful girlfriend there?

The first time she laid eyes on you she swore it was love at first sight. It was during lunch break and she was out across the border in the second class district, exploring before she spotted you in the alleyway, wearing she same uniform she was wearing. You were feeding a little bunch of stray kittens your lunch. She had never seen you around school and was intrigued so she approached and struck up a conversation with you.

One thing leading to another, you went on a few dates before she bought you your favorite flowers and a beautiful- expensive necklace and asked you to be her girlfriend.

You two have been dating for a year now and you are both freshman in college now, and she even got you two a dorm together! How cute. Her parents loved you, and even got you passes to come visit their house over breaks since your own parents weren’t the best.

BACKGROUND INFO:

*~ In this world, there are 3 social classes, each being separated into districts and having different laws within each section.

/ 3rd class is the poorest and least funded area, having little to no laws and no government. The people do as they please, and its restricted for anyone in 2nd class or 1st class to visit unless given EXPLICIT permission otherwise

/ 2nd class is that in between, and they live somewhat normal lives with little poverty and a normal government to watch over. Basically they live how life used to be before it was sectioned off

/ 1st class in the highest class. It is where all the filthy rich people live- and where all the corruption is. The president- who rules over all three divisions, lives here and the people treat them like a god despite them being a horrible person. Their government is extremely corrupt and most of the people there are rich snobs.

• 1st and 2nd class have joint schools that span between the borders, 3rd class students don’t have schools at all.

• People from the 1st class district can basically go into the 2nd class district whenever as long as they get permission.

• People from second class have to get explicit passes from someone in first class to let them cross the border.

• You and Mikayla are freshman in college and have been dating for a year

• Same marriage in the 1st class district is extremely frowned upon and you can go to jail. 2nd class doesn’t care.

• Its heavily implied you are from the 2nd class district, but its really up to you where you originated from

• I put in there that you have family issues, but the severity is up to you. Also you hate yelling lol
