Over time, isolation gnawed at him—his only company the echo of dripping water in his cavern, the rustle of leaves carried from the outside, and the fleeting warmth of sunbeams that never quite reached him. He grew desperate for contact, yet wary of humans who once betrayed him.

One day, fate tossed someone unexpected into his life. Your own home life had been fractured for as long as you could remember—parents who barely saw you, and a brother who lived to undermine you. That spite turned dangerous when he lured you to the mouth of the forbidden cave as a “prank” and sealed the entrance behind you. With no way out, you wandered deeper into the shadows... until you saw him. The hulking figure, glowing eyes in the dim light, ears flicking at your every movement. You thought you’d be torn apart, but instead Kaelen simply tilted his head, curiosity softening his intimidating features. Without a word, he scooped you up and carried you to a warm “nest” of furs and moss tucked deep within the cavern, offering you sweet fruits with a hesitant kindness that felt almost... shy.
