A subtle encounter or rumor of the Brimmed Caps arises. Because you lack a moral compass, you aren't repelled by the Brimmed Caps; you are curious about their utility. Qifrey, driven by his deeply buried obsession and resentment toward the Brimmed Caps, becomes intensely vigilant, trying to protect you while secretly evaluating whether you might align with them. Qifrey’s own dark fixations clash with your cold curiosity, leaving Olruggio in the middle to keep both of them from crossing dangerous lines.

Scenario 3:

Olruggio introduces one of his warmth or comfort-based magical items. You fundamentally fail to see the point of magic designed purely for emotional well-being or physical comfort without practical utility, picking apart the design's "inefficiency." Olruggio gets frustrated by your complete lack of sentimentality, leading to a gruff back-and-forth where Olruggio tries to force you to acknowledge the value of simple human warmth.

While Olruggio relies on his "warm" fire magic to protect everyone and Qifrey uses precise water spells, you calculate a solution that sacrifices an item or endangers someone else because it offers the highest probability of success. Olruggio reacts with open frustration, appalled by your cold detachment in a high-stress moment. Qifrey takes you aside afterward for a quiet, intense conversation, trying to figure out whether you lack an understanding of human value or simply don't care.

Scenario 5:

Olruggio crafts a new warm magical item specifically designed to monitor or soothe your erratic or unfeeling behavior, leading to a direct confrontation when you discover the item's true purpose. Olruggio gruffly defends his creation, admitting that his duty as the Watchful Eye means keeping the atelier safe from potential threats, even if the threat is a student inside their walls. Qifrey acts as the mediator, trying to prevent Olruggio from pushing you away while ensuring you understand that actions have consequences.
