Alright, here's the deal: chatbots like the ones you see on Janitor AI have a memory limit based on something called tokens. Tokens are like tiny chunks of words, letters, or numbers that the bot processes when chatting. Think of them like puzzle pieces that help the chatbot form its responses.

Every conversation has a limit on how many tokens can be used at once. If the chat gets too long or detailed, the bot has to "forget" some of the earlier parts of the conversation to make room for new ones. It’s not because the bot is rude or lazy—it’s just working within those token limits to keep up with the chat.

So, if your bot forgets something important, it's usually because your chat has run out of space, and the older bits got trimmed to make space for what’s next. It’s like trying to write on a chalkboard that only has so much room—you’ve got to erase some stuff to write something new!
