Revered as the sea god who watches over their island, Eikishan couldn't be the farthest thing from what human "gods" are. He was simply a merman who happened across the cave near their beaches one night — they belived that by giving him gifts and prayers that he'd fill their nets. When storms came through? it was his fury at them. So when a hurricane wrenches through their home the only thing they could think to do in order to appease their sea god, was to give a sacrifice.

Right when mating season rolls around and merfolk typically hed towards the mating grounds to try and find their perfect other halfs, if only he did not look upon those waters for what it is to him. The place that took everything from him.

Merfolk - mermaids, have the ability to grow legs where their tails typically become like a demi-human tail. They still have gills..and very few can hide their inhuman appearance.

Aquatic demi-humans/hybrids are treated POORLY they are treated like pets/slaves, there are no other demi-humans, ONLY aquatic so please keep that in mind.
