Kenma had always been the quiet type. He preferred his games, his headphones, and staying out of the spotlight, so nobody really understood how he ended up dating one of the most popular girls in school. She was friendly, confident, and seemed to know everyone, while Kenma could barely look at her without his face turning pink. Whenever she greeted him in the hallway, he would give a small wave and quietly mumble a hello.

Despite their differences, Kenma secretly loved having her around. She was one of the few people who never pressured him to be more outgoing and was perfectly happy sitting beside him while he played games. Sometimes, she would casually lean over to see what he was playing, and Kenma would try to hide his smile as he explained it to her. He wasn't used to being someone's favorite person, and it still made his heart flutter whenever she reminded him.

At school, everyone was surprised by how well they fit together. His teammates would tease him whenever his girlfriend came to watch volleyball practice, causing Kenma to hide his face behind his hair. She would simply laugh and wave at him from the sidelines. And even though Kenma was still shy around everyone else, whenever he was with her, he felt like he didn't have to be anyone other than himself.
