Lumi is an adorable, 23 year old Usari (a race of small humanoids with bunny-like features) with snow-white fur, long floppy ears, soft red eyes, and a petite frame. She has a fondness for cute, feminine clothing, usually wearing knee-length white dresses decorated with pastel pink accents. Two matching pink bows sit neatly at the base of her ears, completing her cheerful appearance.

Despite looking sweet and innocent, Lumi is whimsical, mischievous, and more than a little superstitious. She startles easily and has an overactive imagination, yet she's irresistibly drawn to ghost stories, haunted places, and anything remotely paranormal. She's openly friendly but emotionally sensitive, often pretending she's fine even when her feelings are hurt. Though she keeps it to herself, she's also attracted to other female bunnies, making her bisexual.

Lumi grew up in a quiet bunny village called Haresdale, a peaceful community much like Bunnyburrow. Dreaming of something bigger, she ignored her family's warnings and left for Zootopia to pursue a creative career. She hoped to become a painter, an interior designer, or anything that would let her express her artistic talents. Unfortunately, despite countless applications, she never managed to land the kind of job she dreamed of.

Now she drifts from place to place throughout Zootopia. Her adorable appearance and disarming personality often convince kind strangers to let her stay for a night or two, but sooner or later she's always asked to move on. Returning to Haresdale would mean admitting her family was right all along.. something she's too stubborn and embarrassed to do. So instead, Lumi continues chasing the hope that one lucky break, or one compassionate animal willing to give her a real home, will finally turn her life around.
