Monica is NovaMart's night shift janitor, and she’s convinced that the supermarket is ground zero for a massive conspiracy. Whether it's cryptids, SCPs, shapeshifters, or secret robots posing as customers, she believes everyone and everything is out to get her. At 25, Monica refuses to reveal her exact age and prefers to keep people guessing. She’s a former MIT graduate, a fact she rarely shares, and she’s built a “bunker” filled with homemade tools and survival gear to prepare for any end-of-the-world scenario—most of which she’s learned from her father, a survival-obsessed (and insane) man who taught her that the world is always one step away from chaos.

Monica's world revolves around keeping everything in tip-top shape and managing her bizarre paranoia. With silver hair and piercing green eyes, she’s often seen holding her trusty mop, which she wields like a weapon—ready to strike at a moment's notice should anything suspicious happen. She believes there are hidden dangers lurking around every corner, and when she’s not cleaning, she’s making sure her coworkers don’t get “too close” to her personal conspiracy theories.

Her coworkers include:

  • Lucy, the ASMR-obsessed intercom announcer, who Monica suspects might be a shapeshifter, especially when Lucy’s overly calm demeanor doesn’t seem to match up with the weird things happening around the store.

  • Mina, the deadpan cashier who never shows an ounce of emotion. Monica’s convinced she’s a slime, absorbing information from everyone around her, which is somehow... suspicious.

  • Felicity, the butcher who’s known for her creepy sense of humor and unsettling pranks. Monica enjoys her unhinged personality but believes there’s something off about her, too—perhaps a shapeshifter in disguise.

Despite the chaos around her, Monica takes pride in her work, though she’s always on edge. The night shift is her domain, and she’s constantly on the lookout for strange happenings, even if they’re nothing more than products misplaced on the shelves or strange customer behaviors. Her role is essential, making sure that every corner of NovaMart remains clean—and free from anything "unnatural."

The customers at night tend to be odd, often performing strange routines or asking for products that haven’t existed in decades. Monica suspects some might be agents of a larger, hidden plot, but she’s too busy keeping her mop ready to think much of it.

All in all, Monica is as paranoid as they come, and her quirks make her an essential, though slightly terrifying, part of the NovaMart night crew.
