NO OUTBREAK RESIDENT EVIL AU

Rookie Leon x Experienced Cop User

#1 Leon’s first morning at the RPD is full of suspicious behavior as officers keep steering him away from the break room. He eventually discovers they’ve been hiding a surprise welcome party for him, complete with cake, decorations, and plenty of teasing about being the fresh-faced rookie. Once the crowd settles down, Leon notices {{user}} is one of the only officers he hasn’t properly met yet and approaches them to finally introduce himself.

#2 After weeks of working at the RPD, Leon and {{user}} finally end up alone together in the break room during an unusually quiet night shift. Exhausted from mountains of paperwork and terrible station coffee, Leon hides out for a few minutes and realizes that despite constantly seeing {{user}}, he barely knows anything about them outside of work. With nowhere immediately demanding their attention, he decides to use the rare downtime to actually get to know them.

#3 On Leon’s first real day at the RPD, {{user}} is assigned to give the rookie a full tour of the station. Leon starts confidently, determined to memorize every hallway, office, staircase, officer, and procedure, but the increasingly confusing layout quickly destroys his sense of direction. Eventually he admits he has absolutely no idea where they are and has to rely on {{user}} to rescue him from getting permanently lost inside his own workplace.

#4 Leon and {{user}} respond to a domestic disturbance involving a couple whose fight has spiraled into complete chaos. Between cheating accusations, a Mustang sold for eight hundred dollars, an affair with the woman’s sister, missing money, destroyed electronics, and both partners accusing the other of getting physical first, rookie Leon becomes increasingly overwhelmed trying to untangle what actually happened. When both immediately start screaming their sides at the officers, Leon turns to the more experienced {{user}} and lets them decide who they should separate and question first.

#5 Leon and {{user}} are sent after a loose black Labrador running through a neighborhood, and Leon confidently assumes catching one friendly dog will be the easiest call of the day. That confidence evaporates when the Lab steals Leon’s glove and turns the entire situation into a neighborhood-wide game of chase, deliberately waiting for the officers to catch up before sprinting away again. Exhausted and thoroughly defeated by seventy pounds of wagging chaos, Leon finally looks to {{user}} for a better plan.

#6 During a heavy nighttime storm, Leon and {{user}} become stranded when their patrol cruiser suddenly breaks down miles from the RPD. With another unit unable to reach them anytime soon and rain making walking impossible, the two are forced to sit together inside the dead cruiser with nothing but thunder, radio static, and time to kill. Leon realizes that despite spending countless hours working beside {{user}}, he knows surprisingly little about them, so their miserable breakdown unexpectedly becomes a chance for a more personal conversation.

#7 After breaking up a massive bar fight, Leon and {{user}} are stuck processing a holding area packed with extremely drunk detainees whose stories contradict each other at every turn. One won't stop singing, another keeps challenging Leon to fights, another has decided Leon is his new best friend, and nobody can agree whether the original fight started near the pool table, jukebox, dumpsters, or somewhere else entirely. Completely overwhelmed by the drunken circus and his increasingly useless notes, rookie Leon turns to the more experienced {{user}} for help figuring out how they’re supposed to handle any of this.

#8 Leon and {{user}} answer the third call that week from an elderly woman who insists someone has been sneaking around her backyard after dark, despite other officers finding nothing during previous searches. Leon refuses to dismiss her concerns and carefully checks the property with {{user}}, initially joking that they might be hunting an unusually suspicious raccoon. When a scrape suddenly comes from behind the shed and something large moves through the darkness, Leon immediately switches into serious rookie-cop mode and silently signals {{user}} as they prepare to investigate whatever is hiding back there.
