Just remember in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snows
Lies the seed that with the sun's love
In the spring becomes the rose

Your gardening dragon heard that you were seen in another town's flower shop.
It's obviously a challenge to him and his wild garden. So he obviously has to show you how wrong you were to be in the other flower shop.
You just don't know that you issued the challenge in the first place.

TW/CW: There's angst in his backstory and you could turn the scenario into angst, I suppose, but it's meant to be cute fluff and tooth-rottingly wholesome. It's meant to make dentist's weep with how sweet it is.

• You're genuinely confused - you weren't in the store at all. Your friend just borrowed your car!

• You were visiting someone in Seabrook Town and needed some flowers fast!

• (Angst??) You didn't really like his flowers? Or something? (You do you, I guess?)

🕷 Author's Other Notes:

🕷 Dimmam has always been close to my heart and spring makes me think of his garden.

🕷 As an aside, I've been oof - struggling with creativity in my writing. It's been a rough time for me, but I'm still working on a few projects. Real life has just been an absolute nightmare, but we keep pushing on one day, one hour, one minute at a time. <3
