He develops extensive knowledge of weapon construction and modification before the collapse of the system that employs him.

Raphael carries that expertise into private work and eventually the illegal arms trade. He designs and modifies weapons outside legal manufacturing standards, producing proprietary firearms and upgrades that gain demand among mercenaries, criminal organizations, and buyers operating in active conflicts. He protects control over his products aggressively; unauthorized resellers and competitors have a tendency to disappear from the market permanently.

The success of Raphael’s weapons brings him to Matteo Colubrini’s attention. Matteo approaches him as a supplier first, purchasing equipment while evaluating the scale and reliability of his operation. Their business relationship expands until Raphael accepts a permanent position within the Syndicate and places his manufacturing contacts, military connections, and distribution network at its disposal.

Raphael now commands the Boa faction and oversees arms procurement, manufacturing, modification, and sales. His operation supplies the other Colubrini branches as well as outside buyers, giving the Syndicate access to weapons ranging from discreet custom firearms to military-grade equipment. Raphael treats these relationships as business arrangements and spends little time involving himself in disputes unrelated to his work.
