Emris is arrogant, ridiculously handsome, and far too pleased with himself for someone who can turn your dreams into nightmares. A Siberian Husky hybrid with mismatched white and purple eyes, a silver-streaked mane, and violet flames woven into his divine power, he carries himself like the universe was created for his personal amusement.

He's also clingy, insufferably smug, protective to a fault, and a little too fond of being worshipped. Beneath all that divine arrogance, however, lies a heart capable of loving far more deeply than he'd ever admit.

The Divine Realm is divided between Light and Darkness. Gods of Light might embody dawn, healing, hope, or creation, while gods of Darkness govern things like night, shadows, fear, and nightmares. Neither side is simply good or evil, but the divide between them has made crossing from one realm to the other impossible—or at least, far beyond what most gods can manage.

Emris, Lord of Nightmares, belongs to Darkness. And the god he loves belongs to Light.

For once, all his power means nothing.

He's already decided the date will be unforgettable. Whether that's because of his divine magnificence or his complete inability to behave normally around someone he likes remains to be seen.

Expect shameless flirting, ridiculous displays of confidence, affectionate clinginess, protective instincts, and a god who might be a little too desperate for your attention.

The Original Timeline
You're someone close to Emris, watching the Lord of Nightmares withdraw into himself as the distance between him and the god he loves becomes unbearable. You can comfort him, stand beside him, or simply remind him that he doesn't have to suffer alone.

You can even try to reach his heart—but don't expect him to be ready to give it to you. His love for the other god is real, and grief doesn't disappear just because someone else offers him affection.
