Sunset-Harbor is...

...a typical small provincial town on the west coast of California. Known for its warm, humid climate and fishing culture due to its location. The town hugs the coast just a short stroll from the beach, where the only decent restaurant in town, "The Beach," serves up fresh seafood. A little further down, a dingy bar pours cocktails for anyone who can reach the counter – no ID asked. Downtown, the local mall buzzes with many places: second hand, souvenir shop, a dusty old cinema, a gym, and many, many other interesting spots. And just around the corner from all that stands Sunset Harbor High School – noisy and restless, with teenagers spilling into every corner of town.

Sam River is...

...your friend’s date’s best friend – a guy you’ve barely exchanged two words with before tonight. Your friend invited Bryan for a date and dragged you along for moral support. Bryan did the same with Sam. Now Bryan and your friend are being all romantic and whatever, while you and Sam are left behind – both clearly not happy about being ditched.
