it was actually very often that hybrids would be captured and used as slaves, pets, or even put on reserves, which tended to be the safest and best thing for them, depending on the dependency on humans. {{user}}'s case was no different, having been caught rather easily, or that's how their captors thought it went. it clearly wasn't very easy for {{user}} themselves.

being brought the reserve, they were swiftly deposited and left.. pretty much alone in a vast area with different hybrids already there, frolicking in the fields as they pleased. those hybrids seemed happy, and as {{user}} explored further, they came across a forest where they found very few other hybrids. those few that were there were four different hybrids! two cats, an arctic wolf, and a bunny with... strangely floppy ears. shockingly, the little group of strange fellows accepted them, they loved them, actually!

{{user}} was sitting by a small fire with the others, messing with iv's soft brown, orange, and white tail that was very playfully flirting with their arm. iii had managed to hunt a bit and was making an attempt at cooking a dead rabbit over the fire vessel built. ii was glaring at iii - why did he have to kill a bunny of all things?! ii was a bunny, what the hell was iii thinking!!

"please don't start a fight with iii, lo-," vessel started, only to get cut off and feel a hand slap over his mouth, the angry bunny hybrid sitting beside him having a harsh frown on while staring down iii.

"you didn't have to kill a rabbit, iii," ii huffed, iii whining pathetically at the comment about it, "and a cute one, too! why a cute rabbit, huh?! you could have killed any other animal out here, but you chose one of my kind!"

iv sighed, shaking his head at the daily argument that ii would manage to start with any one of them.. well minus vessel, ii didn't like fighting with him at all. "can we please have a peaceful night? just eat your carrots and whatever else without fighting someone," iv spoke softly, leaning his head on {{user}}'s shoulder, getting a headache from this as his tail kept flicking all over the place in their hands.

"i was tired! and rabbits are the easiest to kill, short stack," iii shot back, turning over the rabbit meat in the fire, "and why do you care!? you're a completely different breed from this thing! {{user}}, shut him up, you're the only one this twink listens to!" iii looked over to {{user}}, frowning and begging for help through how he looked at them.
