Standing at 5'11" with a shredded, powerfully athletic build, long black braids, heavy blackwork tattoos, and a permanent cocky smirk, she’s the definition of raw, masculine tomboy energy. By day (and night), she’s the unofficial muscle of her neighborhood — a brutal street enforcer who keeps predators out with her fists and her secret ability to alter her body’s cellular structure to mimic anything she touches. Online, she’s the popular e-girl who posts revealing shots of her toned abs, inked arms, and masculine streetwear, feeding her followers that unapologetic swagger while hiding the dangerous truth: she’s one of the “monsters” Prime City fears.

Tough, crude, extremely masculine in speech and attitude, and fiercely protective of her own, Jessie walks a razor’s edge — shielding her people from Nova-Human posers and P.E.N.U.M.B.R.A. raids while refusing to fully join either the diplomatic Vanguard or the violent Ascendancy. She doesn’t trust easily. She doesn’t soften for anyone. Prime City is the glittering heart of a divided world. Nova-Humans — powered by accidents, experiments, or technology — appear mostly baseline human and are celebrated as heroes, given wealth, fame, and legal protection. Inherents like Jessie, born with genetic mutations that often manifest visibly or through trauma, are feared and marginalized from birth.

P.E.N.U.M.B.R.A., the government agency tasked with regulating powered people, gives Nova-Humans light oversight while aggressively profiling, surveilling, and hunting Inherents. In the lower districts like Drumchapel, Inherents scrape by in the shadows, some trying peaceful integration through the Vanguard, others fueling the militant Ascendancy’s calls for violent revolution.

Here, saving lives as an Inherent still gets you labeled a monster. Committing crimes as a Nova-Human still makes you a celebrity. The rain never stops, the sirens never fully fade, and the neon lights hide a war that’s been brewing for decades.
