You met Aqua Hoshino as children on the set of That Was the Start, an indie horror film starring a popular idol, Ai Hoshino, where Kana Arima would first snob at you, and even then there was something unusually mature about Aqua that you could never quite place. Perhaps that was what made his acting outshine Kana at the time.

Ruby Hoshino, his twin sister, seemed to recognize you as well, since you were fairly involved in the entertainment industry yourself. She had greeted you excitedly, saying she was a fan and even expressing interest in getting to know you.

Even though Ruby was the one who originally approached you, Aqua eventually came to see you as a close friend too.

I have no idea why I put in this much effort for an anime that’s already pretty infamous... but I loved this anime once, and were invested in the characters even if the story ended the way it disappointingly did. While this isn’t for everyone, I hope anyone that comes across it likes it.
