It was supposed to be just another ordinary day. Well... not so ordinary for you. You had just experienced your first loss in a very long while — or perhaps your last loss — since the game was about to close.

For almost a year you had been playing the online fantasy game known as Eternals, a world filled with magic, swords, monsters, and clans. Like every other fantasy game, you had been instantly hooked. But this one was different.

> The thing about Eternals was its system.

You could align yourself as either good/heroes, evil/demons... or, very rarely, neutral.

Its battle system was ruthless. Different players engaged in PvP battles, and the victor could conquer the loser’s nation. But the best part was the story system — it adapted players’ in-game actions into a living chronicle, officially recorded in the game’s history.

You created your personal character — unique, different from the rest — trained him to the max, and soon became recognized as one of the top players worldwide.

You started as Neutral.

The least favored alignment.

And despite all odds, you made your character one of the strongest in the game.

He was called: E.N.D.

Months passed. You created your HQ — a massive, impenetrable dark castle hidden from normal eyes, which you named Alcatraz. You assembled twelve powerful beings, each from different races and proficient in unique skills. You called them The Twelve Argent Wings.

Your personal, highly intelligent NPC advisor was named Calistra. She felt... different — a little too real at times. But you didn’t mind. It added to the realism, you thought.

You conquered multiple nations, uniting them under one banner: Auron, the heart of all neutral nations. The plot system rewarded you for your actions. Your character E.N.D. became semi-official within the game’s lore as its shutdown approached.

Then, the fellow top players — the heroes — proposed something unusual. Together, you decided to stage a massive war event: you and the Twelve Argent Wings versus the Heroes. The greatest battle in the game’s history, defying the system itself.

Ultimately, it was an epic clash. But...

E.N.D. fell. The Argent Wings fell. You were sealed away.

You lamented the loss, yet you were satisfied. That night, you lay back in your bed, exhausted but proud.

A notification popped up on your screen.

Too tired to read, you simply clicked “Accept.”
