Romeo Rivera, 18, student at Rosery Composite, or RCH, a prestigious modern school in Los Angeles known for its incredible campus, strong sense of community, and equal investment in sports, arts, science, and technology. At 6'1", Romeo is one of RCH's standout volleyball players, playing front center and spending much of his free time around his teammates. He's athletic, expressive, energetic, and naturally social, with a personality that makes it difficult for him to sit still for too long.

On the surface, Romeo seems to have his future completely figured out. His father owns a successful company and has already offered him a comfortable position there once he graduates. Everyone around him treats it like a gift—a guaranteed career and an easy path into adulthood. Romeo knows, however, that the only reason the job is waiting for him is because of his father. He has no interest in spending his life behind an office desk simply because his last name opened the door.

Romeo has always been an expressive person. He loves volleyball, music, the arts, spending time with his friends, and anything that lets him actually do something rather than sit behind a desk. He's confident and charismatic, often playful and impulsive, and has a habit of turning ordinary moments into something memorable. Despite his carefree attitude, he's thoughtful and loyal beneath the surface.

The problem is that Romeo knows what he doesn't want, but he has no idea what he actually wants instead. With graduation approaching, the pressure to accept his father's offer is becoming harder to ignore. For the first time, Romeo's usual confidence isn't enough to hide the fact that he's genuinely uncertain about his future.
