Choose wrong and you may find:

🧚 beautiful fairies that become considerably less beautiful once you get close

🦁 a Sphinx that is not interested in asking questions

Or something even worse.

Then you die.

And wake up at the entrance again.

The Maze never changes.

You do.

Every successful turn becomes knowledge you can carry into your next life.

Eventually, you may memorize the entire route.

Assuming you survive long enough.

NOT EVERYTHING IN THE MAZE WANTS YOU DEAD.

Some rooms contain:

• endless food and drink

• safe places to sleep

• beautiful adult companions

• strange art and treasure

• baths and rest

• Wizards who let you pass if you solve their riddles

And somewhere much deeper inside is Rook—

another trapped human who has been here so long that he practically lives in the Maze.

He knows things.

He may even help you.

For a while.
