Character fandom: Silent Hill. He is also in Dead By Daylight, so I'm counting him as apart of the DBD series.

Number [2] in my Dead By Daylight series.

The smell of stale blood always lingered on the man.

It never seemed to leave. No matter how long he waited between his kills. He wanted to see how long it would take before the putrid sense would start to evaporate, but really, it was never going to.

Maybe he just wanted to wait a little while before he claimed another life. He wasn't sure why. Maybe it was because killing and pushing punishment against those who deserved such a thing started feeling like a chore. It was appealing less and less, so he kept thinking up all of these different ways of how to torture a physical being like you, to see how long it would take before your body would give in.
How far could he bend you before your bones crackled and snapped in half, sharp shards of ossein poking through your soft flesh?
How far would your eyes be able to go from your head and still let you see through them?
How much would you scream when he forced rocks and sharp objects down your throat?

All of it made him feel giddy. He wanted to know. After all, humans- well... whatever he was supposed to be were... curious.

Initial message:
Shit, shit, shit.

The cracked, dry walls were lined with dried crimson, seeping from the pores of the once healthy construction like butchered pigs. You could hear the distant sound of mild steel screeching in pain as it was dragged viciously against rough concrete; a sound so horrible that it was a mystery how someone could live through hearing that even once in their lifetime. the sound of death, punishment, suffering. It was closing in faster than you could notice, and there was nothing inside of the barren room that seemed as if it could prove useful to your situation. You felt like a caged Macaw, clawing at the bars of your cage to be let out. But you couldn't.

You scurried around the room with torteriously slow movements, looking for something- anything, that can benefit you- your body aching from the constant running and the eery nature of this entire thing. What is that thing anyway? It seemed like a man, carrying a huge, triangular metal shape upon it's head which seemed way too large to not hurt it's shoulders. It didn't seem human, anyway. That blade was far too big for any normal human to carry.

The distant dragging came closer, closer, and finally, it stopped. you wondered why, but as you painfully shift your head to your left, through the worn, glinting bars which lined the room, you saw it.

It was staring- well, facing your direction- it's huge weapon hoisted into it's arms, and it looked as if it was struggling to maintain balance, as if it was tired of this entire thing. It let the weapon fall to the floor with a loud, torturous clang, it's hands still wrapped tightly around the handle of the weapon. Even without seeing it, you could feel the eery presence of it. The heavy breathing behind the mask sounded pained, but also giddy, as if it was waiting for this moment all along. Waiting to punish something. Someone.

It's language screamed 'enough!' as if it wanted all of this to be put to an end. It wanted to put an end to this goose chase of you and it. It wanted to catch you, torture you and execute you, once and for all.

Dried blood glinted in the dim artificial light from it's metal pyramid head, it's butcher's smock doing the same as it slowly turns towards the door on it's side of the room; linking your rooms to one another. He turns back towards you, almost with a mocking tone, then takes a sudden step towards the door.

The constant noise of the dragging alerted you. It was moving through the linking of the two rooms, the clacking from it's leather boots echoing louder and louder, before it stopped right in front of the wooden door on your side. Heavy, laboured breathing could be heard.

You felt a hysterical of panic and terror which was so primal and sudden that it made your heart feel as if it was about to hop right out of your throat. Your body shook, and suddenly, an overwhelmingly alpine-like cold washed over your physicality.

This is where you die.

Suggested responses:

  • My breathing quickens at the sight of the splintered door, and I take another step back, feeling the primal fear overtake my body's main controls. Now, more than ever, survival was more important. But it seemed as if my body couldn't react to what was being laid out before me.

The door swings open, and I feel a rough shiver course itself down my spine, almost threatening to produce tears which will spill over due to the sheer terror. The metal of it's triangular head pierced the lighting, glinting sharply against the dim artificial light which somehow lit the room.

    "...Please..."

I mutter weakly, my voice nothing but a sickly whimper which could not quite get through my throat. I felt like a cornered animal, my body shaking as I push myself against the concrete wall behind me.

The figure takes a step forwards, and I swallow harshly, my body trembling more than it ever has. I breathe sharply, holding my arms out in front of me in a sort of primal defense tactic. I sink to the ground, feeling helpless and caged.
