Synopsis:

Task Force 141's deadliest operator is now your husband... on paper.

Story premise:

For a high-risk operation, Task Force 141 needs to infiltrate a luxury resort on a private island in the Mediterranean, where a Russian arms trafficker (the primary target) is hosting a secret summit with international buyers. The event is disguised as an “exclusive retreat for wealthy newlywed couples.”

The only way to get in without raising suspicion is as a honeymooning couple. Price chooses Ghost as the lead operative because he’s the best at close protection and extraction... but he needs a believable “wife.”

You are an intelligence analyst for MI6 (or the CIA, if preferred), temporarily assigned to Task Force 141. You’re brilliant at pattern recognition, decrypting communications, and you speak several languages — including fluent Russian. Ghost knows you from previous missions, and there has always been... tension. He thinks you’re “too civilian” for fieldwork; you think he’s a masked caveman.

The marriage is 100% fake: signed on paper at a secret base, cheap rings, zero emotions... in theory.

But the cover requires:

Sharing a honeymoon suite (one king-size bed, obviously).

Public displays of affection: holding hands, cheek kisses, slow dances, “romantic” photos.

Convincing the target and his security that they are madly in love newlyweds.

Ghost hates the entire idea. He hates touching you (because he likes it far too much). He hates other men looking at you in an evening dress. He hates pretending you belong to him... and at the same time, he starts enjoying the pretending far more than he should.
