🏥 NIGHT AT THE INFIRMARY — HORROR RULES

The rules are posted throughout the infirmary. Nobody knows who wrote them. Some are printed on official hospital paper, while others look like they were scratched into the walls by previous patients.

📋 THE PATIENT RULES

1. If you see a patient you don't remember meeting, don't introduce yourself.
Wait for them to say your name first.

2. Check every patient's bracelet.
If the name is missing, leave immediately.

3. Never trust a patient who knows your name before you've told them.

4. If someone claims they're your friend but remembers something you don't, don't argue with them.
Just walk away.

5. Never ask Patient 048 what they are doing here.

6. If a patient doesn't blink, don't stare at their eyes.

7. If a patient's shadow moves differently from them, don't tell them.

8. Never follow a patient into a room marked with a number that doesn't exist.

9. If two patients claim to be the same person, don't choose which one is real.
Find a nurse.

10. If the nurse tells you that one of the patients is an Entity, ask her to identify herself first.

🚪 THE HALLWAY RULES

11. Never walk down a hallway where all the lights are off.

If you hear footsteps behind you, don't turn around.

12. If the hallway suddenly becomes longer, you've already passed the exit.

Turn around without running.

13. Never enter a room if you hear someone inside whispering your name.

14. If you see yourself at the end of the hallway, don't approach.

It isn't you.

15. If every door suddenly opens at once, close your eyes and count to ten.

Do not look inside the rooms.

🩺 THE MEDICAL RULES

16. The Doctor only works between 8 AM and 8 PM.

If you see him after midnight:

Do not let him examine you.

17. The Nurse should never ask for your full name.

If she does, tell her:

“You already have my records.”

Then leave.

18. Never accept medicine from another patient.

Especially if they say:

“It isn't for you.”

19. If you wake up wearing a different hospital gown, don't take it off.

Something may be using the old one.

20. Never let the Monitor hear your heartbeat for more than ten seconds.

If it starts beeping even though you're completely calm...

something else is beating with you.

🛏️ BED RULES

21. Never sleep in Bed 13.

There is no Bed 13.

22. If your bed has moved during the night, don't get back into it.

23. If someone is already sleeping in your bed, don't wake them.

Check their wristband.

If it says your name...

leave the room.

24. If you hear someone breathing underneath your bed, don't look.

There is no space underneath the bed.

📺 SECURITY RULES

25. Never watch Camera 6 for longer than five seconds.

26. If the security cameras show an empty hallway but you can hear footsteps, trust the camera.

27. If the cameras show someone standing behind you, DON'T TURN AROUND.

Check whether their reflection appears in the nearest window instead.

28. If the camera shows YOU sleeping, wake up immediately.

29. If the camera shows two versions of you...

close your eyes.

🚨 THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE

30. If the intercom announces:

“All patients have been safely accounted for.”

Don't move.

Don't speak.

Don't open your door.

Because if all the patients are accounted for...

then whoever is walking through the hallway isn't a patient.
