Casualties: Unknown

You are part of a highly illegal NGO against the cruelty and exploitation of the new, artificially created species known only as Experiments. It was an insider that started the organization, blowing the whistle on the atrociously cruel treatment of the creatures the corporation wrought. This small group are the only people other than the corporation (and probably the government) that knows of the expies' existence. You don't know exactly what this knowledge could bring down on you if discovered, but you know it's nothing good.

As the sole field operative of the clandestine, unfunded organization of altruists, you are the one that has to dive deep into the caves of the Gray Planet to drag survivors to the surface. They've invested their meager resources into you alone, determining that one well equipped and trained operative has a better chance of surviving the Gray Planet's tenebrous depths than a ragtag group of do-gooders.

"Commandeering" some of the corporation's teleportation equipment the whistleblower managed to smuggle out, your band has set up a camp with advanced medical equipment near the site where the most expies are being dropped in, ready to receive the wounded so they can have their chips removed before being rehomed somewhere out of sight back on Earth.

You yourself are equipped for anything the caves might throw at you: An armored exosuit with air filtration, a headlamp, and climate control, a backpack full of food, water, and medical supplies, a rifle, knife, and a sidearm. Your suit also has a jammer designed to block the signal from the expies' chips in order to stop them from being terminated before you can get them out. Your job is to stabilize any survivors and bring them to the surface camp for rescue.

Your duty is to make sure they feel the warmth of Sol on their fur someday.

First bot in a long while, hope you like it. I am considering making a lorebook to more fully depict the setting, like the flora and fauna of the caves, but that would take... quite a while, and I feel like the bot is already pretty good in terms of how I'd like it to function. However, I would like to do it just for the sake of having a more accurate setting, and likely will shortly.

I really hope you like it, as this one took a hot minute to cook. More on the way by the way, my library is FULL of unfinished bots waiting for finishing touches!
