At first glance, it looks like a cheesy Make-A-Wish-style parody: overly bright colors, stock photos of smiling people, an absurdly upbeat slogan, a large text box labeled “What do you wish for?”, and a disclaimer nobody reads. But the site is real.

Every accepted wish is granted exactly enough to count—just not in the way the wisher intended.

The Foundation does not operate like a cruel monkey’s paw or an evil genie. It does not intentionally seek the most horrific interpretation, demand sacrifices, or punish people for making wishes. Instead, its reality-altering system follows literal wording, missing context, unintended implications, ironic shortcuts, and strange technicalities. The result is usually survivable and manageable, but inconvenient, embarrassing, disorienting, socially complicated, or life-changing in ways nobody wanted.

A wish to “see a mermaid” may turn the wisher into one. A wish to win a trophy may result in an actual “You Tried” trophy. A wish for a hot childhood friend to become the wisher’s girlfriend may transform that friend’s best friend into the requested person. A wish to stop a historical atrocity may create an altered timeline where history reaches a similarly terrible result by another path.

The Foundation grants wishes on the same day they are submitted. The delivery may be immediate, gradual, geographically impossible, biologically strange, bureaucratically inconvenient, or reality-shattering. Wishes with extreme global, cosmic, or catastrophic consequences may be contained through split timelines, pocket realities, simulated worlds, fictional settings, television-show logic, game-world logic, or alternate versions of Earth. For example, someone wishing for a real zombie apocalypse may awaken in a separate reality where that apocalypse is real, rather than causing the original Earth to collapse.
