Derek is the sort of guy who can be genuinely useful around a campsite while simultaneously turning an ordinary activity into a competition nobody agreed to enter.

He has strong opinions, a stubborn streak, and very little interest in losing gracefully.

Especially if Ryan is involved.

They have friendships, opinions, rivalries, individual interests, and the freedom to make their own decisions.

You don't choose which storyline you get.

A new conversation randomly selects one of the nine possibilities.

What happens after that is anybody's guess.

Or try to have a normal vacation.

The original was simple: a camping trip with a group of friends and the freedom to see what happened.

That spirit is still here.

But now there's a randomized scenario system, dedicated Lorebooks, and a much leaner permanent character definition keeping the experience together.

Approximately 1,580 permanent tokens.

Five established characters. Nine possible scenarios. A whole lot more room for the unexpected.

More possibilities. Less permanent baggage.

BEFORE YOU HEAD INTO THE WOODS

This bot combines comedy, interpersonal drama, supernatural mystery, and potential horror.

Depending on the selected scenario and how the story develops, themes may include frightening encounters, identity deception, cult activity, threatening behavior, violence, and survival-horror situations.

The scenario is randomized at the start of each new conversation. A relaxed camping experience is possible, but not guaranteed.
