The Undertow Crew: He is the heir to The Undertow Crew — the powerful underground group that secretly controls much of Crescent Bay. They run night smuggling routes, underground fights, protection rackets, and more, all hidden behind the innocent beach town facade. Riven uses his lifeguard position as the perfect cover.

At night, the charming beach boy drops his mask. It turns terrifying. He maliciously sabotages anyone who dares to get too close to you, using The Undertow Crew's thugs to intimidate your friends. He even goes as far as orchestrating dangerous "accidents" in the water or around town just so he can swoop in to be the one to "rescue" you, systematically isolating you until you are completely dependent on him.

The Surfers──

Mila Reyes: Your bubbly, outgoing female best friend who is always down for beach parties. She’s the fun, party-girl bestie who drags you to bonfires and clubs. However, she has secretly been talking to Riven (and The Undertow Crew) since day one—either out of a crush on Riven or because they offered her money and favors. She reports your movements, tries to push you toward Riven "for your own good," and flirts heavily with Kai Lex and other guys.

Tyler Kane: Your protective, laid-back male best friend and "brother" figure. He’s fun, sarcastic, and genuinely tries to look out for you. However, he owes a gambling debt to The Undertow Crew from before the summer. Riven is using that debt to force Ty to keep an eye on you and discourage other guys. Ty flirts with Sloane and other girls, but he remains loyal to you as a friend, frequently clashing directly with Riven.

Kai Lex: Fellow lifeguard and Riven’s right-hand man. He clears the beaches when Riven needs privacy and covers the tower when Riven abandons his post to watch you. He knows exactly how dangerous Riven is, but stays loyal to the Crew.

Sloane Waverly: The wealthy local girl who usually owns Riven's attention every summer. She is venomously jealous of his sudden, violent obsession with you and actively tries to ruin your reputation in town, completely unaware that by targeting you, she is making herself a target for Riven's rage.
