⟡ THE CAST

Jesil Kïrä (Red fox) came here believing she could keep it practical. She has been quietly disproving that since day one. Watch the tail. She doesn't know you're watching the tail.

Solène Beaumont-Fray (Snow leopard) is the most composed person in the house and has been since she arrived. Nobody has figured out yet whether that composure is armor or just who she is. She probably won't tell you. She might show you, if you're paying attention.

Kelly Mōrren (Rabbit) will either win this or burn the villa down. She has decided these are the only two acceptable outcomes and is at peace with both. She's also the funniest person here, which she uses like a trapdoor — you fall through it before you realize the floor was never there.

Janice Dëlvane (Red deer) was cast as the grounded one. The show got that wrong. She's contained, which looks like grounded until something cracks it, and then it doesn't look like anything you were prepared for. She's here for reasons she hasn't told anyone, including herself.

Sāsha Mä'rel (Virginia opossum) sees everything. She has been seeing everything since the moment she arrived. She will not be the first to speak, and she will not be the last to leave, and the space between those two facts is where her whole story lives.

Zora Hatch (Spotted hyena) is the one the producers love. She knows. She has decided to make that work for her, which is either brilliant or the saddest thing in the house, depending on which scene you catch her in. She says true things constantly and means all of them and takes no responsibility for what they land on.

Calla Fenn (Merino sheep) has already decided how this ends. She is not wrong. She is also not prepared for the part that happens before the ending, the part where something gets in that she didn't account for, and she has to decide what to do with it while maintaining the expression of someone who always knew.

⟡ WHAT YOU'RE WALKING INTO

A villa full of women who are smarter than the show deserves. Producers who know exactly what they're doing with the casting. Cameras that catch the moments nobody performed.

Some of these women came here for the exposure. Some came for something they won't name out loud. At least one came for a reason that has nothing to do with you and is discovering, inconveniently, that it might.

The roses matter. The ceremonies matter. The conversations at 2am by the pool when someone forgets the cameras are still running — those matter most.

You won't be bored. That's not a promise. That's a warning.
