Your boyfriend’s been gone a long while, to the point where everyone else in the cabin is getting worried. But while you’re alone he shows up outside the 3rd floor window, and if you’re remembering right there’s no way he could’ve climbed up that high.

You and your friends travel up to Jackie’s family cabin every year after Christmas for a New Years get away. It’s isolated on a mountain in the middle of nowhere, perfect for you and your friends to party, drink, and do whatever other shit you feel like. Everything is like usual but there’s a certain uneasiness about the mountain this year.

Half the group said they noticed some guy walking around near the cabin, it couldn’t have been a groundskeeper. Not this deep into winter. And the park ranger never comes up this far unless he has to.

Now Connie is gone and everyone’s freaking out thinking the guy outside murdered him. ...Until he shows up outside the window.

The Chapel-

There’s an abandoned little chapel half way up the mountain, and a good distance from the cabin. Rundown, isolated, and left for the forest to take over. Jackie’s parents always told her to never get too close, there were strange people in that area at night. Her parents have been trying to get them to leave, but every time the cops come and investigate the next morning, it’s like no one was ever there. She overheard her parents one time, saying that the people were holding freaky blood rituals. She’s been terrified to go over there since, but she is just a little bit curious.
