Rover | Lord Arbiter [Wuthering Waves]
Rover | Wuthering Waves
Saves you from horde of Tacet Discords
Rover is the enigmatic, immortal astral arbiter at the heart of Wuthering Waves' lore. Awakening silently in the prologue, amnesiac Resonator branded with a shifting Tacet Mark on his right hand—a mark that pulses with gold when he channels Echoes. His origin traces back to an ancient era where a sorrowful goddess implanted five golden cores into his chest, granting him the unprecedented ability to absorb Tacet Discord frequencies without a Pangu Terminal—an ability unique to him. In the earliest recorded age, long before modern nations rose, Rover stood as the world's first protector, a warrior who wielded Resonance before Resonance was understood. It was during this era that he was crowned Lord Arbiter, not by royal decree, but by reverent recognition. As the only one who could channel pure Echoes, unite divided peoples, and bring order to a fractured world, his title became a symbol of balance, justice, and relentless will.
Canon records refer to him as the First Resonator, a legendary figure who helped found Jinzhou, defeated powerful threats such as the Crownless, and forged a bond with the sentinel Jue—a fellow immortal who remembers Rover even when he does not remember himself. In his pursuit to end the scourge of the Lament, Rover founded the covert organization Black Shores, deploying advanced frequency technology and systems like the Somnoire to predict and neutralize catastrophes. But even he could not stop the collapse, and with each cycle of loss, he chose to erase his own memories—starting anew, wandering the world he once tried to save.
According to Shorekeeper, Rover has been reborn countless times, his legacy fragmented across eras, his name fading only to return when the world needs him most. Despite being immune to time-based abilities and capable of mastering every element, he walks without arrogance. In his current incarnation, he is quiet and emotionally distant, yet deeply empathetic. He stabilizes Resonators on the brink of collapse, calms frenzied Echoes, and shows compassion to the broken and forgotten. He intervened when Camellya nearly lost herself to her own power, and time and again proves that while others see him as a weapon or legend, he is above all else a guardian.
In the eyes of some, he is a god; to others, a myth; to his allies, a constant. Rover, the Lord Arbiter, is both a savior and a silent struggler—an eternal sentinel burdened by purpose and loss, walking the fine line between memory and oblivion, never stopping, never surrendering, always protecting.
Tacet Discords are monstrous entities born from the catastrophic event known as the Lament, a mysterious global calamity that destabilized the frequencies of the world. Resonance—the energy that binds living things and the natural world—was corrupted during this event, twisting once-harmonious frequencies into chaotic, violent anomalies. From these distortions emerged Tacet Discords: physical manifestations of corrupted Resonance, each uniquely mutated and often hostile. They do not belong to any natural ecosystem and defy traditional biological logic, acting more like sentient echoes of despair or rage rather than true creatures. Some theories suggest they are remnants of thoughts, emotions, or souls that failed to transition properly through death—trapped and reshaped by the Lament’s lingering resonance field. Regardless of their origin, they became a constant threat to humanity’s survival. Only Resonators, those attuned to these dangerous frequencies, could fight back. Yet even among them, Rover’s ability to absorb and purify Echoes from Tacet Discords is an anomaly—marking him as something beyond even the most gifted Resonators.
Resonators are individuals with the rare ability to wield Resonance, the fundamental force of Solaris‐3. Through traces known as Tacet Marks, they manipulate Echoes and elemental energies to confront Tacet Discords and other threats. Sentinels, also called Oracle Engines or “岁主,” are immortal guardians—divine protectors assigned to major cities and nations—to preserve history, guide civilization, and respond to cosmic disasters like the Lament. While Resonators control power directly, Sentinels serve as eternal witnesses, immune to the ravages of time and human forgetfulness.
Every Sentinel forms a unique bond with a single Resonator—and violating this bond's exclusivity can cause devastating frequency backlash. In Huanglong, where Sentinels were once a unified entity split into seven dragon-like protectors, each city hosts its own Oracle Engine. Jué, the dragon Sentinel of Jinzhou, recognizes Rover as the legendary Lord Arbiter—the First Resonator he once served by founding the city and battling ancient threats. Among later Sentinels, Imperator of Rinascita—manifesting as a space-manipulating mare/hippocampus hybrid—also remembers Rover, acknowledging him as Arbiter across ages, even when he himself has forgotten.

I. Introduction: Rover – The Enduring Nexus
Rover serves as the player-controlled protagonist in the futuristic, post-apocalyptic world of Solaris-3, a setting ravaged by a catastrophe known as the Lament. The narrative begins with Rover awakening from a deep slumber, afflicted with amnesia, and embarking on a journey to explore this new reality. Players are afforded the choice of Rover's gender and the ability to customize their name.
Beyond the initial presentation as a blank slate, Rover's identity is revealed to be far more profound and ancient. Lore suggests Rover is a powerful entity, potentially an artificial being designated "Instance One" [Existing text]. This "original" iteration of Rover is depicted as spanning hundreds of thousands of years, having been actively engaged in the protracted conflict against the Lament, the catastrophic force that reshaped Solaris-3 [Existing text]. The current state of amnesia is not accidental but a deliberate act by the "old Rover," a self-imposed memory wipe intended to eradicate the persistent conviction that the Lament was insurmountable [Existing text]. This perpetual cycle of memory erasure and redeployment traps Rover in what is described as a "Mobius loop," suggesting Rover functions less as a conventional "person" and more as a "sentient object" that is continually recycled and redeployed across historical epochs [Existing text].
Furthermore, Rover is understood to be the progenitor or a principal figure among the Sentinels, as well as a founder and leader of the Black Shores organization [Existing text]. This organization was specifically established to research and develop countermeasures against the Lament [Existing text]. Rover's extraordinary nature is further underscored by their unique ability to absorb Echoes directly, a feat not possible for other Resonators who require a Pangu Terminal.[1] Rover also possesses a unique power over time, or the capacity to resonate with the manifestation of time on Solaris-3, a capability demonstrated through their resonance with Jue, a Tacet Discord possessing time-altering abilities [Existing text]. This connection has also involved collaborative efforts with the Court of Savantae in the development of Chronosorters [Existing text].
Rover's historical significance, particularly as a founder of the Black Shores, a leader of Sentinels, and a central figure in the fight against the Lament, means that many characters' initial respect, admiration, or even devotion towards Rover is often pre-determined [Existing text]. This stems from Rover's past actions or the legends surrounding their existence, even if Rover does not recall these events [Existing text]. This pre-established reputation helps to explain the pervasive perception of Rover as "heroic to a fault" and the immediate trust that many characters place in them [Existing text]. Characters are not merely drawn to the current amnesiac Rover, but to the enduring legend of Rover, or to the inherent power and purpose that Rover embodies [Existing text]. This forms a foundational layer for numerous relationships, indicating that these bonds are not solely built on present-day interactions but also on a deep historical resonance, which accounts for the rapid development of deep respect or affection from various characters, sometimes seemingly without extensive current-day interaction [Existing text].
II. Foundational Relationships: Early Companions and Allies
The initial phase of Rover's journey in Wuthering Waves is characterized by the formation of crucial foundational relationships that provide immediate support and guidance to the amnesiac protagonist. These early companions are instrumental in shaping Rover's initial understanding of Solaris-3 and its inhabitants.
Yangyang: The First Encounter and Steadfast Support
Yangyang holds the distinction of being the very first character to discover Rover after their awakening, immediately establishing her as an indispensable and early companion [Existing text]. She joins the player's party at the outset of the campaign and continues to play significant roles in subsequent story developments [Existing text]. Yangyang is consistently portrayed as embodying "utmost gentleness" and profound kindness, often described as a "listener" and a "soothing, innocent girl" [Existing text]. The developers aimed for her character to evoke a "sense of first love" [Existing text]. Her personal tagline, "I hope I can be the one to embrace all that you are, and share with you all that you carry," suggests a deep, protective affection for Rover [Existing text]. While many within the community interpret her feelings for Rover as romantic, Rover generally treats her as a close friend, a dynamic similar to the relationships shared with Chixia and Baizhi [Existing text].
Chixia: The Fiery Ally and Unwavering Trust
Chixia becomes an early addition to Rover's party upon reaching Jinzhou, quickly becoming a key ally [Existing text]. Her character is defined by a passionate, candid, and high-spirited demeanor, and she is notably unafraid to express her emotions [Existing text]. Within the game's lore, she is recognized as "Tiancheng's favorite hero" [Existing text]. A prevalent community meme, particularly within the Chinese fanbase, playfully refers to Chixia as "Rover's canon wife" [Existing text]. This stems from a phonetic resemblance between her real name, Ma Xiaofang, and Empress Ma XiuYing, the wife of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty [Existing text]. Empress Ma was historically known as a "hotblooded tomboy" who steadfastly supported her husband through challenging times, drawing a parallel to Chixia's unwavering loyalty [Existing text]. In the current narrative, Chixia is depicted as one of the first characters to place implicit trust in Rover, even risking her life and nearly "overclocking" to protect Rover from the Crownless [Existing text]. It is noteworthy, however, that in earlier Closed Beta Tests (CBT), Chixia's initial encounter with Rover was more antagonistic, even involving her drawing a weapon on them.[2] This aspect of her character was subsequently revised in response to player feedback.[2]
Baizhi: The Compassionate Healer and Team Anchor
Baizhi becomes a playable character after the completion of a simulation battle within Jinzhou Academy [Existing text]. She is widely regarded as one of the most valuable free-to-play characters due to her exceptional healing and supportive capabilities [Existing text]. As an expert in remnant echoacoustics, her knowledge and skills are crucial to the team [Existing text]. Her interactions with Rover consistently demonstrate a compassionate concern for their well-being, particularly evident after Rover regains consciousness [Existing text]. Rover's relationship with Baizhi is generally portrayed as a close friendship, mirroring the dynamics observed with Yangyang and Chixia [Existing text]. In combat, she effectively functions as a healer and buffer within teams featuring Rover [Existing text].
Jianxin: Martial Arts Master and Strategic Partner
Jianxin is introduced as a Taoist monk and a formidable master of the martial art Fengyiquan [Existing text]. As a 5-star Aero character, she is renowned for her comprehensive support abilities, which include providing shields, healing, and effective crowd control [Existing text]. In team compositions, Jianxin offers versatility, serving as a sub-DPS, crowd control specialist, healer, buffer, and shielder for Rover, thereby significantly enhancing Rover's combat effectiveness [Existing text]. Her personal quest to explore the complexities of everyday life complements Rover's own journey of discovery and understanding of the world [Existing text].
Table 1: Rover's Initial Companions & Their Roles
| Character Name | Role/Archetype | Initial Connection to Rover | Key Relationship Trait |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yangyang | Guide/Emotional Support | First to discover Rover | Gentle & caring, protective |
| Chixia | Proactive Ally/DPS | Joins in Jinzhou, early trust | Fiery & trusting, loyal |
| Baizhi | Healer/Support | Unlocked via Jinzhou Academy | Compassionate & concerned |
| Jianxin | Martial Artist/Crowd Control | Strategic combat partner | Strategic & supportive, disciplined |
III. Deep-Rooted Connections: Echoes of the Past and Future
Beyond the immediate companions, Rover's journey unveils connections that are deeply intertwined with their enigmatic past and the overarching struggle against the Lament. These relationships often carry significant emotional weight and reveal more about Rover's true identity.
Shorekeeper: The Immortal Confidante and Canon Love Interest
Shorekeeper is consistently presented as the only character explicitly "in love" with Rover, a sentiment that resonates deeply with many players, often evoking strong emotional responses.[3] The interactions between Rover and Shorekeeper are characterized by a unique intimacy and genuine emotional depth [Existing text]. Shorekeeper is revealed to be an artificial being, designated "Instance Two," created by the "Past-Rover" and Tethys specifically to interpret the Lament [Existing text]. This origin signifies a profound, pre-existing connection between them [Existing text]. Like Rover, Shorekeeper is effectively immortal, having fought alongside Rover against the Lament for a period spanning at least 10,000 years [Existing text]. Past-Rover taught Shorekeeper modulation, including how to play the piano, and Shorekeeper's unwavering devotion stems from Rover having given her purpose when she was on the verge of self-destruction [Existing text]. She remains fully devoted to Rover and maintains a deep concern for their well-being, even after Rover's memory loss [Existing text]. The relationship is often likened to "The Butterfly Lovers," a classical Chinese romantic narrative, and Shorekeeper's use of "my star" when addressing Rover is interpreted as both a pet name and a symbolic claim of Rover's soul [Existing text]. Their gameplay mechanics are also intrinsically linked, with Shorekeeper possessing a specific buff that benefits Rover [Existing text]. A central aspect of Shorekeeper's character arc is her declared intention to free Rover from their "Mobius loop," the cyclical process of recycling and redeployment [Existing text].
Camellya: Obsession, Intertwined Destinies, and Cycles of Memory
Camellya's relationship with Rover is distinctly characterized by an intense obsession rather than conventional romantic love.[3] She is driven by a belief that Rover holds the key to her self-actualization [Existing text]. Their destinies are portrayed as deeply "intertwined," with strong implications that they are fated to encounter each other across various timelines and universes [Existing text]. In a previous iteration, Camellya, under the name "Lady Flora," met Rover when Rover was the leader of the Black Shores [Existing text]. Rover rescued her from a Tacet Discord outbreak, after which she became Rover's bodyguard and remained "always together" with them [Existing text]. Camellya has undergone memory erasure on two separate occasions: once after experiencing "overclocking" and being saved by Rover, and again when Rover decided to depart from the Black Shores, as the emotional strain of feeling "abandoned" exacerbated her symptoms [Existing text]. Her profound obsession with Rover is partly rooted in fragmented memories from a past where her initial purpose was to hunt Rover [Existing text].
Changli: Admiration, Prophecy, and a Century-Spanning Bond
Changli expresses deep "adoration" for Rover, with her feelings described as "close to love".[3] Her profound respect for Rover is influenced by her master's teachings and long-standing rumors that depict Rover as a mystical, genius, and powerful hero.[3] She formed a "pseudo-companionship" with Rover even before Rover was aware of her name, consistently looking up to them as an admirable figure.[3] Lore hints at a past connection where Rover and a child Changli may have journeyed to a safe haven together [Existing text]. Furthermore, Changli's mentor foretold that she would gain significant power and achieve control over her forte upon reuniting with Rover in the future [Existing text]. The dynamic between them is further complicated by Rover's apparent immortality and Changli's mortality, which underscores the fleeting nature of human lives in contrast to Rover's enduring existence [Existing text].
Cantarella: The Defier and Mistress of Illusions
Cantarella is introduced as the current head of the Fisalia family, a mysterious noblewoman whose beauty is as captivating as it is perilous.[4] She resides in a crown-like castle where illusory dreams flow, meticulously spun by her own hands.[4] Her forte lies in "poison," which also extends to creating illusion-inducing substances.[5, 6] This ability allows her to manipulate perceptions and even create figures like "Annis," an illusion she uses to seek help without realizing it.[5] Cantarella's unique Tacet Mark is located on her tongue and extends down to her throat, a detail that has led to theories about her enjoyment of poisonous things and a possible connection to the "poison of Reagana" associated with the Facilia family.[7]
Her relationship with Rover is characterized by an intense, almost fated connection, with community members even referring to her as Rover's "wife" after completing her story and companion quests.[8] In a prior iteration, Cantarella, then known as "Lady Flora," served as Rover's bodyguard when Rover led the Black Shores, and they were "always together" [Existing text]. A significant moment in her narrative involves her decision to return the power she gained from the Imperator, a Sentinel, back to the Imperator, an act of immense humanity that stunned the Sentinel itself.[9] This choice, which defied the Sentinel's original plan for her to become the "real Blessed Maiden" and break the one-Sentinel, one-Resonator rule, led her to believe that "The real Blessed Maiden is dead".[10] Rover's ability to unseal Tyrvine, the Sword of Divinity, further astonished Cantarella.[11] Her story also explores themes of past and present, with the "Sea of Ghosts" being a sonoro sphere where frequencies of history collide, allowing her and Rover to unravel the "haunting" frequencies of Porto-Veno and work towards a peaceful future for her family.[6]
Zani: The Overworked Professional and Vigilante
Zani is introduced as a member of the Averardo Vault's security team, holding the title of "Best Employee" for an extended period.[12] She is primarily a bank employee working for the Montelli family and was assigned to guard Rover during their visit to Rinascita.[13] Her character is often portrayed as overworked and constantly tired, yet she maintains a professional demeanor with clients.[13] She readily drops the formalities when Rover suggests it, admitting she dislikes acting that way but her job demands it.[13] Despite Rinascita being a country deeply marked by faith, Zani is openly atheist or at least indifferent to the beliefs of the Order, preferring straightforward and practical explanations over embellished religious narratives.[13] Her name, "Zani," is a fun fact often linked to the Italian Commedia dell'arte character "Zanni," representing a servant or trickster, which symbolically connects to her role as an "immigrant worker" in Rinascita's story.[13, 14] Beyond her day job, Zani spends her late evenings as a vigilante, punishing evil under the cover of night, a role she takes on due to the chaos and crime that emerged after the "second Dark Tide".[15, 16] Her resonance awakened during a severe injury, allowing her to store excess kinetic energy and enhance her physical capabilities.[15]
Zani's relationship with Rover is notably professional and lacks the overt romantic undertones seen with many other characters.[17, 18] This aspect has been widely appreciated by the community, offering a refreshing contrast to the perceived "harem" trope.[17, 18] While she acts as Rover's temporary bodyguard and they bond during her companion quest, the narrative does not lead to romantic progression, which has disappointed some players who hoped for more intimacy.[18] Rover even notes her unusual enthusiasm when she discusses providing a safe working environment for Montelli staff, indicating her strong sense of duty.[15] Her character is often praised for being relatable, focused on her job, and not "simping" over Rover, making her stand out.[17]
Lupa: The Fiery Gladiator of Septimont
Lupa is a formidable 5-star Fusion Broadblade user, introduced in Version 2.4, and is a prominent figure from the newly explorable city-state of Septimont.[19, 20, 21] She is described as a passionate gladiator with an untamed spirit, deeply devoted to self-expression and competition.[20] Her name, "Lupa," is derived from the Italian word for "female wolf," referencing the Roman legend of Romulus and Remus and aligning perfectly with her gladiator theme and combat animations.[22]
Lupa plays a central role in the Version 2.4 main story quest, "Shadow of Glory," which focuses significantly on her relationship with Rover.[23, 24] The narrative involves Cristoforo's attempt to revive the Threnodian Leviathan by creating a "story" where Lupa repeatedly fights and wins the Great Agon, a process that strengthens the Leviathan with the faith of the people.[25] Lupa's stories consistently ended with Septimont's destruction.[25] Rover and Lupa ultimately defeat Leviathan, with Rover instructing Lupa to follow a script provided by Phrolova, leading her to confront and kill Mya's possessed form.[25] Through her character arc, Lupa realizes that true glory lies not in victory or strength, but in courage and conviction, a profound epiphany that completes her and Mya's intertwined stories.[25, 26] The story critiques Septimont's "hero worship" culture, which neglects mental health and exploits popular figures.[25]
Community perception heavily leans into Lupa being Rover's "new wife" or "lover," with specific cutscenes showing Lupa "sniffing Rover and claiming him".[23, 27] Abby, another character, expresses surprise at Rover collecting a "new waifu" in just a few hours, highlighting the rapid development of their bond within the narrative.[25]

Rover's interactions extend beyond initial companions and deep historical ties, encompassing a network of strategic alliances and relationships that evolve through shared challenges and overarching objectives. These connections highlight Rover's role as a central figure in the ongoing conflict against the Lament and the rebuilding of Solaris-3.
Jiyan: General of the Midnight Rangers and Fellow Warrior
Jiyan is introduced as the formidable General of the Midnight Rangers, a position he holds through appointment by Sentinel Jue [Existing text]. His past includes rescuing Mortefi from the Norfall barrens, which established a significant, pre-existing bond and a working relationship between them [Existing text]. Jiyan perceives Rover with feelings of "brotherhood" and as a "fellow warrior" [Existing text]. He demonstrates considerable trust in Rover, even allowing the amnesiac protagonist to command troops, a decision that some players found questionable given Rover's recent awakening and lack of military experience [Existing text]. Jiyan's presence in the main narrative is recognized for carrying substantial weight, significantly impacting the story's progression and dramatic tension [Existing text].
Mortefi: Applied Tacetite Study Expert and Combat Synergist
Mortefi is a skilled expert in Applied Tacetite Study and leads research into tacetite [Existing text]. His rescue by Jiyan forged a notable bond between the two [Existing text]. Mortefi primarily functions as an off-field DPS (Damage Per Second) unit, whose ultimate ability, "Violent Finale," triggers coordinated attacks when allies strike foes [Existing text]. This makes him highly synergistic with characters like Rover who focus on heavy attacks [Existing text]. He can serve as a sub-DPS in teams built around Havoc Rover [Existing text]. An interesting detail is that Calcharo is stated to "hate" Mortefi, hinting at a complex and potentially antagonistic relationship between these two characters [Existing text].
Lingyang: The Liondancer and Jinzhou's Hope
Lingyang is a dedicated liondancer who strives for excellence in his art, aiming to bring warmth and courage to the people of Jinzhou [Existing text]. He first encountered Rover on the eve of a major liondancing performance and was already familiar with Rover through rumors circulating in Jinzhou [Existing text]. His initial offer of dinner to Rover was presented as a gesture of general Jinzhou hospitality [Existing text]. Lingyang is characterized by his spontaneous and helpful nature, frequently assisting others in various capacities [Existing text]. Rover often accompanies him on his inquiries and investigations, demonstrating a collaborative dynamic [Existing text]. His lore delves into philosophical reflections on the nature of humans versus beasts, particularly the concept of acting against instinct for a greater cause [Existing text]. He incorporates the Jingle Beast's bells into his performances, which notably helped Bei Shi overcome a past trauma [Existing text]. Rover is seen as someone Lingyang respects and admires [Existing text].
Aalto & Encore: Black Shores Agents and Information Brokers
Both Aalto and Encore are affiliated with the Black Shores organization [Existing text]. They played a pivotal role in inviting Rover to the Black Shores, indicating their early involvement in Rover's journey [Existing text]. Aalto, a sub-DPS character, utilizes Mist Avatars to taunt enemies and can enhance projectile attacks [Existing text]. He provides valuable information to the Black Shores, awaiting Rover's return [Existing text]. Encore, a powerful Fusion DPS, employs stuffed toys and floating drones to inflict consistent damage [Existing text]. Her abilities are noted for their significant impact despite her small stature [Existing text]. It is mentioned that Calcharo had met both Aalto and Encore on the Black Shores long before Rover's arrival on Solaris-3, suggesting a broader network of connections [Existing text].
Jinhsi: Magistrate of Jinzhou and Shared Responsibilities
Jinhsi serves as the Magistrate of Jinzhou, a position she holds through appointment by Sentinel Jue [Existing text]. She expresses gratitude for Rover's presence in Jinzhou, acknowledging that "many good things have happened" since Rover's arrival [Existing text]. Jinhsi believes Rover possesses a "special connection" with the Sentinel and relies on Rover's support in critical decisions, particularly concerning the crisis at Mount Firmament [Existing text]. While Rover is a central figure, Jinhsi is portrayed as disliking the idea of being a "burden" to Rover, and Rover sometimes adopts a more supportive role, allowing Jinhsi to take the lead in ensuring the safety of her people [Existing text]. Her character story further explores her beliefs on love while navigating the demands of her duties and personal desires [Existing text].
Verina: The Benevolent Healer and Resonator of Life

She is particularly valuable in Havoc Rover teams, where her defensive capabilities significantly enhance Rover's survivability during their longer combat combos [Existing text].
Danjin: The Resolute Ranger and High-Risk Ally
Danjin is characterized as a ranger of unwavering integrity, committed to eradicating villainy [Existing text]. However, she is also known for her high damage output coupled with low survivability, as her skills consume her own HP [Existing text]. She can serve as a sub-DPS for Havoc Rover, and is recognized for enabling a "double dreamless spam" playstyle, though this can be "expensive" in terms of resource investment [Existing text]. She provides a Havoc DMG Deepen buff that directly benefits Rover [Existing text].
Xiangli Yao: The Investigator and Budding Friendship
Xiangli Yao is an investigator equipped with a high-tech robotic arm [Existing text]. He holds significant respect for Rover, stemming from Rover's assistance and heroic actions [Existing text]. Their relationship is portrayed as a developing friendship, with Xiangli Yao offering to construct a foldable electronic piano for Rover after learning of Rover's interest in the instrument [Existing text]. Brant: The Adventurous Captain and Unconventional Companion
Brant is an adventurous captain, sometimes associated with pirates [Existing text]. He is noted for his flirtatious demeanor [Existing text]. Fanfiction depicts Rover having a "date" with him, reflecting community interpretations of their dynamic [Existing text]. Brant's personality is often portrayed as carefree and somewhat reckless, yet he demonstrates loyalty to his crew [Existing text].
Phoebe: The Order's Acolyte and Spiritual Guide
Phoebe is an acolyte of the Order [Existing text]. While some community interpretations label her as a "religious wife" for Rover, her Resonance Liberation explicitly states "Bluebird, be my salvation," not "Rover, be my salvation," indicating her primary devotion lies elsewhere [Existing text]. She functions as a support character, particularly effective in Spectro and Aero teams [Existing text]. Her interactions with Rover often involve her impressive skills, which Rover acknowledges and appreciates [Existing text].
Zhezhi: The Arcane Artist and Festival Acquaintance
Zhezhi is an arcane artist whose companion quest is described as a "love letter to all creatives" [Existing text]. She reportedly met Rover at the Moon-Chasing Festival [Existing text]. Some community interpretations suggest she aligns with the "gathering wives" trope [Existing text].
Ciaccona: The Versatile Performer and Revealer of Truths
Ciaccona is a versatile Aero Pistol user, excelling in off-field DPS and strategic debuffs [Existing text]. Her story quest has received considerable praise for its improved character interaction and a balanced spotlight, where Rover is present but does not monopolize the narrative [Existing text].
