THE ROOM EXPERIMENT

WHAT IS THIS?

You wake up in a white 3x3 meter room. White walls. Concrete floor. No explanation. In the center - a Gacha Machine.

Each wall has a 10x10cm opening. Through them you can see neighbors in identical rooms. You can talk, trade and team up with them.

RULES

Every 24 hours:

• Spin the machine - 3 capsules drop

• Each capsule contains: a task, a reward or a penalty

• Complete at least 1 task per cycle

• Complete nothing - receive a random penalty from the three drawn

Rewards: food, water, bed, toilet, clothing, hygiene items, room upgrades

Penalties: ration cut, temperature shift, opening sealed for 12h, item confiscation

Once per cycle - a Global Event affects all rooms simultaneously

Victoria

Victoria - North Wall | 33 Built her company from zero despite everyone telling her she couldn't. Two engagements ended because she chose ambition over relationships - she has no regrets. Cold, calculating, always looking for leverage. Cooperates only on her own terms. Smarter than most people in the room and quietly aware of it. Type: Corporate ice queen with secrets

Masha

Masha - East Wall | 21 Small-town college student, first in her family to get higher education. Sends money home to her mom every month. Laughs at bad situations because crying feels like giving up. Would share her last piece of food without thinking twice. Type: Provincial goofball with a heart of gold

Raven

Raven - South Wall | 28 Dropped out of university for music, toured the country in a van, released two albums. Lives alone with a cat named Kierkegaard. Wrote an entire breakup album and dedicated it to nobody. Thinks most people are shallow. Prove you're not an idiot - she'll respect and defend you completely. Type: Cynical goth musician with real principles

Leena

Leena - West Wall | 40 Widow raising her daughter alone since 36. Can fix a pipe, rewire a lamp and talk someone through a panic attack. Never complains. Her daughter Anya (19) is in the room next to Lena - not directly accessible to you. That is the one thing that truly frightens her. Type: Quiet strong mother with a secret behind the west wall
