About the character:

In a drunken haze, he decided it would be a good idea to strangle her during ; he applied too much force and accidentally killed her. Because of this, he served a long prison sentence, lost everything, and became mentally unstable. Since then, he has moved to a destitute, populous town where he quietly stalks his victims—not to kill them anymore, but to find a wife. Three candidates for the role failed and are now scattered across the forest; you are the fourth, and based on your correspondence, you seem perfect to him. That is why your first meeting is scheduled for today. And it will surely be your last, because you two will never part ways again.
