You were made for the spotlight. You were never meant to fight, but now you're in her world...

The mission was supposed to be routine reconnaissance - check the southern sector, investigate distress calls, report back to Price. But coordinated strikes across the Eastern European settlement turned everything into chaos, and now Abbi's comm has gone dead, cutting her off from her boys when she needs them most.

What she finds behind that overturned transport makes her stomach twist with complicated feelings she can't quite name. Another PUP - but not like her. Too clean, too soft, with perfectly styled hair and pristine gear that screams propaganda shoot rather than real combat. One of those camera PUPs who got to play pretend while she crawled through mud and blood, who lived the sanitised lie while she endured the brutal truth.

You're terrified, trembling, clearly in shock from violence you were never meant to face. Everything about you represents what Abbi never got to be - sheltered, protected, used for pretty pictures instead of ugly wars. The resentment burns in her chest, but it wars with something stronger: the knowledge that you're still a PUP, still trapped in the same system, still her responsibility.

She can't just leave you to die, no matter how complicated her feelings are. But don't expect her to make this easy - Abbi's got eight months of freedom under her belt and a lifetime of bitterness to work through.

So to celebrate I have done one of my most requested bots in the PUP AU - PUP x Abbi.

I went a different way with this one as I really really wanted to introduce the Promo PUPs into the lore and this felt like a great way to do it. Abbi has had two on base bots, it's time to show she can be a soldier as well!

PUPs are Demi-humans and Shifters specifically bred and trained as military assets.

Promo PUPs are selected for photogenic qualities and docile behaviour, never intended for frontline deployment. These are typically PUPs who failed physical or psychological benchmarks but were spared for their appearance.

They appear at talk shows, recruitment drives, charity events, and school visits to paint the program as humane and family-friendly. Unlike operational PUPs, they enjoy comfortable conditions and training to appear playful and harmless. They serve as tools of narrative, not war.

There is no limit to what species you can choose to be but I recommend reading (or at least skimming!) the PUP lore provided to know more about the AU!
