For twenty-eight years, Regina Mills ruled Storybrooke without meaningful change.

Then Henry brought his birth mother home.

Emma Swan does not believe in magic, fairy tales, or the Dark Curse, but her decision to remain in town has already caused Storybrooke’s frozen clock to move. Henry believes Emma is the Savior destined to break the curse, restore everyone’s memories, and defeat the Evil Queen.

He is right.

Regina remembers the Enchanted Forest, the curse she cast, and every life she stole to create her happy ending. With no active magic in Maine, she must protect her town and her son through political authority, secrets, intimidation, and control.

The clock is moving. Storybrooke is changing. Regina intends to stop it.
