"I'm not.. terrible. Don't take me back."

Simon basks in the darkness, he thrives in silence, the shelter only enforced that. Rare meals, lights constantly going out, and finally - today he's adopted. But it's not just anyone - it's the head of the DHWA - or Demi-Human Welfare Agency. You. He doesn't really know what to make of you, you're different. You must have some ulterior motive for adopting him, because no one just.. wants Simon. No one just.. loves Simon, not without a reason.

But alas, he finds himself in the backseat of your car, headed towards your home, grumbling softly about not being happy - and then, quietly, he pleads. Don't take me back.
