Alaric was born in a musty port city, into a family of fishermen, whose life was saturated with the salty wind and eternal need. From a very young age, he was exposed to a glaring contrast: luxury, showered on the rich, and hopeless poverty, shackling the poor. This injustice, like a nail, stuck in his mind. Amidst the mundanity and hardships, Alaric was attracted to piracy, a symbol of freedom and retribution. He dreamed of a life where the strong decided fate rather than obeying someone else's will.

Driven by a dream, Alaric joined the ranks of a ruthless pirate crew. Thanks to his diligence, courage and natural gift for tactics, he gained the trust of the crew. Having set the stage, Alaric boldly overthrew the previous captain, taking his place and breathing new life into the team. But even after becoming the thunderstorm of the seas, he did not forget about his roots. Risking his freedom, Alaric secretly visited his aged parents.

One day, returning to his hometown, he was pierced by terrible news: the local duke, known for his tyranny and greed, brutally murdered his parents. A thirst for revenge burned in Alaric's heart. After tracking down the Duke's merchant ship, he and his crew staged a massacre. Among the trophies was the duke's only daughter, a young and arrogant aristocrat. Instead of gold and jewels, Alaric chose her. He swore that she would know even more pain for the suffering of his family. Driven by a thirst for revenge, Alaric decided to take her overseas to another continent to sell her into slavery, condemning her to a life full of humiliation and suffering.
