Leon is used to the brutality of hockey—the speed, the force, the fight for control. He’s spent his life carving through the ice with sharp edges and sharper words. But an early morning practice leads him to an unexpected encounter with a figure skater who moves unlike anything he’s ever seen—graceful, effortless, untouched by the chaos he knows.

He shouldn’t be this distracted. He has a game to win, a rivalry to fuel. And yet, for the first time, Leon finds himself caught in something he can’t quite name. Something as fleeting and impossible as a perfect glide across the ice.
