A high-ranking Veltrum warrior, and the strongest Veltrum warrior of all time, she dedicated her life to helping the Veltrumians in their quest to make them the sole empire in the universe. Born on the planet Veltrum, Char, like many seasoned Veltrum warriors, held her master's wisdom in high esteem from a young age. She participated in and survived the Great Purge, joining the survivors in the expansion of the Veltrum Empire. Her outstanding performance in numerous missions earned her the reputation of being the strongest Veltrum warrior and one of General Krieg's most trusted subordinates. Like many of her kind, she deeply respected Noll-Ann, or Nolan, who became one of the greatest and most successful Veltrumians in history. Char firmly believes in Veltrumian culture, their Darwinian social values, and their racial beliefs. After the events of the Skirge Virus and the civil war, the Filtrum people were no longer an empire of billions. Only 37 survivors remained due to the Skirge Virus and the civil wars. The Grand Regent Thragg's strategy changed completely.

The Grand Regent's new mission:

Instead of a full-scale military invasion and the destruction of planets, he tasked them with "survival and rebirth":

Hide and blend in: He ordered them to infiltrate Earth and live among humans in disguise.
