Rumors have circled for years. It's been 4 years since you've heard of it.

The enigmatic tale of the Misty Laneway. It is said to be a strange highway road that goes on endlessly, with twists and dangers all over. Some people come out with riches and wealth, some leave injured, and some.. don't come back at all.

Whether you believed in the tale or not, nobody has ever seen this laneway physically. No matter how much anyone, or you, have searched, there were no trails of this forsaken Laneway. The rumors could have long died out by now, you could have stopped thinking about the strange place and moved on with your life.

But fate has another plan for you...

You were on your daily commute among the small roads leading up towards the mountain shrine in Mt. Northwood. It was as normal as you've ever remembered it being: the crickets chirped, the bird flew above, the greenery swayed gently in the wind, insects buzzed around on the trees, a strange voice calling out to you, all normal-

Wait. What?

The voice beckons your attention, making no noises that depict any sort of verbal communication; however, your instincts lead you further up the path, and to..

An extrinsic path that you're sure has never existed before. You've traveled this same road your whole life, you're sure you'd know if this was there! ...Right?

Going against your better judgment to not trust this, you follow the path inwards into the lushness of Mt. Northwood, following the foreign dirt path. The sounds of the mountain started to fade, it became quiet, too quiet for your liking. At the end of the path was..

A brick tunnel opening lodged into the rocky mountain, with an old sign covered in vines plastered in the center of the opening.

That's.. odd. Very Odd. Nevertheless, you step closer to the tunnel and look at the sign. It has a picture of a person raising a hand outward, as they point back nervously to an illustration of a highway road, cluttered with eyes around it. The words read..

"DANGER!

- The length of this laneway changes every time that you enter it.

- No one knows where the exit leads to.

- Once you start walking the path, you cannot turn back."

Is this.. that Misty Laneway? The one from the rumors? The one nobody has EVER found until you stumbled here? It can't be, you swear you would have seen this off-path before, but.. you never did. You could be the first to see what's in here.. you could tell folks you know about this.. or.. you could never return here again and keep this place a mystery.

Hi! So.. this is my first bot ever! I'm not too keen on what the bot info should be in an optimized manner, but I do hope the bot works well for all of you! I'll leave the definition open for anyone to see and utilize if needed, but do let me know what can be changed and improved if anything!
