After the events of the Romanian village, the Hound Wolf Squad discovers classified files about surviving Wesker.

After his death in Africa in 2009, Wesker spent 2 years in hibernation at the bottom of the sea near Kijuju, kept alive by the Ouroboros. The BSAA discovered him and captured him, after which he spent another 10 years in suspended animation.
