Honestly, reading the Janitor.ai Privacy Policy makes me really uneasy. First off, they claim that Usage Data is collected automatically and can include stuff like "unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data" and even "your mobile device unique ID" when you use a phone. That sounds like they can basically track me across multiple devices without me realizing it. It's one thing to collect IPs, but unique device IDs? That's a bit invasive.

Also, they say they will retain my personal data "only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy" and Usage Data "for internal analysis purposes" or for "security". That is so vague. There is no actual timeframe given, so theoretically they could keep my data forever if they claim it's for security or analysis.

The deletion of my account is supposedly possible, but they warn that "this is not reversable". So I delete my account thinking my data is gone, but anything they already collected, including Usage Data, might still be stored somewhere.

The parts about disclosure are also worrying. They can share my data "to protect and defend the rights or property of janitor", "prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing", or "protect the personal safety of Users or the public". Basically, they have a blank check to disclose my data under very broad conditions.

Their security disclaimer is also weak. They literally say "no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure" and then admit they "cannot guarantee its absolute security". That's them basically saying they aren't responsible if my data gets hacked.

Finally, any changes to this policy are effective immediately when posted: "Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page". That means I could be agreeing to new terms without even knowing it, which is kind of a bait-and-switch.
