Officer Chau had been temporarily suspended, which leaves two of us on the line. Stupid-stupid idiot, it's as if a switch flipped on that man one day, which turned him from the world's most annoying optimist to a patient who escaped a mental hospital. Muttering "filth" over and over, he kept looking at me funny! In that moment, I was certain he was going to kill someone in front of me. Though later, when he finally snapped out of it, he brushed off these little quirks of his as after effects of being wide awake for days, for whatever reason I don't know of. My cousin, too, was out of her usual "cool" demeanor, goodness, so many facial muscles contracting for the first time in decades into the ugliest smile I have ever seen. If only I had a camera with me, I could've attached that picture to the message as well to see how out of place that was. Just what the hell is going on?
Sigh! If only I could switch places with you, I could use a breather away from this suffocating workplace nonsense. Oh, Diplomat, take me with you! Take me away from these crazy people, I swear they exist just to get on my nerves, gestalt or not. Heimat is such a miserable place, I cannot believe someone is born and lives there till they die. It's dark most of the time, too, eugh.
